Portugal follows ETSI regulations, that allows only 100 mW max EIRP.
But that's for personal use (either by private people or comercial entities). For use as an ISP, a licence is required. It isn't cheap, and only a few are available.
Vodafone@PT: 0.7Â/KB = 7.17â/MB or 0.24Â/KB (weekends and holidays or from a montlhy fee of 5.95â);
TMN@PT: 0.8Â/KB (also, MB packs)
Optimus@PT: 0.7Â/KB, 0.2Â/KB for enterprises.

KnoppiXMAME 1.0 Released
·
· Score: 5, Informative
I have a Knoppix DVD disc, along with other live-cds. (And a RH 9 + Mandrake 9.1 install DVD, if anyone is interested.)
As far as Knoppix is concerned (or any other program), there is no difference in media but the size. The filesystem is, as in a CD, ISO9960 with rock-ridge extensions. (Normal video DVDs also have an UDF filesystem, but it isn't required nor does it conflicts with the ISO9660 one.)
So MS doesn't have access to the WM source, but it does have access to Safari's source. Any undocumented "trick" used by safari should them be available to anyone, no?
"There is only a violation if they modified existing GPL code."
No, there's a violation if they distribute GPL programs. If so, they must give the source (for the GPL programs, inc. any modifications), alongside the binaries or when requested. At least, a written offer must accompany the binaries.
"Just one question: Where does the Bible say "live and let live"? I don't remember it, but if it is there I would like to know the context."
It doesn't. Well, not in those words. Some people like to decude that from other texts, most notably "judge not, that you be not judged".
" Also, it seems a little wierd using the Bible to support your arguments considering Jesus ate meat, all of the prophets and Apostles ate meat, and most of the Old Testament involved the Mosaic practice of sacrificing animals."
Yes, but it's interesting to note that only after the "flood" (I don't know the exact english word) were humans allowed fish and meat (Genesis 9), and the curse on the ground was removed (end of Genesis 8).
"I suspect that maybe the real reason why the number is changing is because 112 is the standard number throughout the EU"
Here in Portugal the same thing happened, for that same reason. We switch from 115 to 112 a couple of years ago, though I still think of an emergency when I see the number 115...
Do U Want It has that kind of service, although only for a few shops.

Besides, don't you think preaching against overclocking doesn't suit most users of this forum? :)
And for those wondering how to activate it in 865PE, there's an article at Tom's Hardware.

What ever happened to Tux2?

The new kernel (well, 2.4.21-rc8) fixed that.
One workaround mentioned in the LKML is to disable IO-APIC.
But the recursive part can easily be accomplished with a
Note that in Unix like systems those files will initially still occupy only zero bytes and will grow as more is downloaded.
If you have a file you don't know if the download had finished, just re-download it using bittorrent. If it's complete, it will say so.
hm? "/" means "or", doesn't it? ("or" as used in common language)
It seamed pretty obvious to me (ie, I didn't get confused about which door was which), and, as the architect had said, the predictable one.
Actually, the scene with the architect was the only one I enjoid, on an intellectual base.
SCO is really getting into our heads...
(Congratulations & good luck :))

BSD would be as good as some, and better than most.
But not the copyright.
