Most Android phones don't have a 10 year of even 3 year battery. My wife's LG isn't at 80% and it's less than a year old. If I wanted a phone with no headphone jack, no easily replaceable battery and no sd card slot I'd buy a fucking Apple.
I know that if there is a top grade phone with replaceable battery, micro-sd slot and headphone jack then I'm in. I'm still using a 2 year old S5 Active because it still meets my needs and I haven't seen anything I consider enough better to make me pay out 700-800 dollars.
Apple has no future as anything other than a hardware company. The software side was simply to provide support for the hardware. To think they'll somehow transition into the over saturated dog eat dog world of the entertainment industry is crazy. The iPod allowed them to leverage the music business for iTunes but it's not where their money is.
I like my 2012 15" Macbook Pro. Love it. But I haven't seen anything they've produced since that is worth buying. It's been a drive to lighten and reduce size and no other real improvements. They need to realize that some people don't want a 3mm thick computer at the cost of it becoming disposable in 3 years. Leave the option to change the battery and upgrade memory at the least. I'm going to be looking for a new laptop in another 3 or 4 years and it isn't looking like another Mac.
A router shouldn't be going bad after 2 years. I had a WRT54G for over 10 years until last year when I replaced it with a new model with all the new wireless protocols. My DirecTV DVR kept bitching about speed for on demand. It made a big difference in throughput and I probably should have replaced it years ago but I have a hard time throwing out something that works.
Hard to believe there was no way to fix the phones. I read somewhere it was an issue with the battery. Surely they could have just replaced all the batteries?
For a 9mm to do that he'd have had to be close range. It's got no real punch. Cops sometimes shoot people four or five times in the back and they keep running.
Actually the reactor grade fuel is made up of a pretty complex mix of plutonium. The worst radiating particles die off much quicker than the more stable particles. The fuel will be much weaker though still harmful after 100 years. As to how much it takes to kill you that also varies. It's definitely something to avoid though.

Some of those connections wont stream old fashioned analog tv much less anything considered HD.
