Can anyone explane how Napster made money? AFAIR there were no ads on the site or in the client (save the cdnow link that was in later versions of napster). It obviously made some kind of money, however, because I remember hearing about how Shawn Fanning made a lot of money.
The sacrifice was His suffering and separation from God for sins/crimes He had not committed. Despite the fact that Jesus was resurrected, he still suffered an agonizing death. Being raised up afterwards doesn't change that.
I know I can do that...my question was how could i set up kde or gnome to be able to just click those kind of links without having to do that. Not that I use them too much, but it would be nice to fix.
Registering for this requires you to click on an "aim://blah blah" link. I know I can just use the info in the link to send the right IM to their bot, but this brings a question to mind. How does one set up KDE or GNOME to handle those "aim://" links?
Actually I think the type of audience about which you spead doesn't even know the difference between a "flashy 1.0" and anything with the word build in the title. (Or anything 1.0 for that matter). Heck they'll probably be like "Whoa, build 72?!? Right now I have AOL and it's only 8.0. I got to get this Lycoris thingie."
I don't care how many people say it teaches bad habits....I think quickbasic is a good way to start. it picks up syntax errors as you type and it's a good way to introduce functions and teach them the basics of writing algorithms.
I switched from yahoo to HotPOP when yahoo stopped offering free pop3. HotPop works great for me...I get ~1 advertisement every week or so from HotPOP, but haven't been bothered by a single spam message other than those so far (it's been about a year). Oh, and it's free too. Of course I've also been a LOT more careful about who gets my new email address. The down side is that they don't have webmail access, but I just use my old yahoo accound to download my HotPOP messages when I'm not at home.
You wait for it to compile and install, which beats waiting several days waiting for redhat/mandrake, etc. to release rpms.
Using prelink will also provide additional optimization.
Gentoo does all this by default. To compile and install optimized binaries for kde, you just type "emerge kde"
Public hearing is refering to a hearing everyone can watch, not a hearing where anybody who wants can just go say whatever they want.

Just apply the patch. ;-)
You pirates just wait until the RIAA hears about this...

The RPM development team has just announced a bugfix for all of the circular dependency problems.

Can't you just have to sprinkle some Magic Server Pixie Dust on it? I thought when used regularly, servers would solve their own problems.

Now this is even LOWER than usual...now we can't even read the whole /. writeup.
