What would have been funnier is to get dell to send one of their contracted technicians to fix the problem. Then if the tech clicked through he could honestly say he never agreed to the terms. If Dell tried to charge him for said visit, he could go back to the issue of the EULAs not being avalable
Yes and the average consumer wants not only to make as much money as possible, they also want thier goods as cheaply as possible. the vast majority could care less where the goods are produced and could care less weather or not their purchase contributes to the local or national economy. The same people are worried about the economy and their own job security. The only thing that could reverse this trend is if consumers care enough about where their product/service is made to refuse to buy on those grounds. I am in a union for a large company. we are all worried about job security but yet most of my co-workers are happy to buy foreign cars and shop at wall-mart
I love the crack at the end about a microsoft hybrid that could be known as 'WINDEX'.
Will Microsoft now have to Embrace/Extend/Destroy
SC Johnson wax to steal yet another trademarked Name?
In My Livingroom I have a P3 700 cloked to 933, it has 256MB memory and A Voodoo 3 3500, It is attached to a 29" Sony Fixed Frequency monitor that runs at 800X600. (it is an evaluation monitor serial #1 and 240VAC) That is the livingroom TV. It runs windows98. it has a wireless keyboard, PantherXL joystick, its on the network and it controls the cd player. I have been waiting for a video card to replace the vodoo, which was cutting edge when I bought it. The new AIW with full clock speed is just the ticket. the voodoo is around 3 years old now...
