    What is wrong with wringing every cent of value off of your internet service? You pay for it. If they don't like it they can advertise lower speeds or something, instead of being deceptive and limiting people who are doing nothing wrong.

    Don't support these companies, but don't deprive yourself either. If you try the game and like it, then play it. Just don't pay for it, pirate it! And the windows you'll need, pirate that too! And if you find that it isn't so good that you can't resist it, then resist it. Don't help it's popularity. Don't host servers, etc. But please, use your money to reward only, not because society expects payment.

    Bell Internet sucks anyway. They have very strict download and bandwidth limits with huge fees if you go over. And they introduced these limits without even a letter(email doens't count, not everyone uses ISP email) or phone call to thier customers. Waking up to a 150$ dsl bill without warning isn't very good customer service. I'm sticking with the friendly local DSL providers thank you.

    Is there any way to get around this for users from other countries without software patents? Can a mozilla "fork" that will be based entirely not in the US keep these capabilities? And could the main mozilla branch be kept completely compatable with the fork so that they would merely have to swap one compartmentalized chunk to restore plugin abilities and remain up to date?

    Linux geeks don't ussually buy low end machines(celeron, onboard video, low ram etc.) that aren't possible to upgrade(no agp slot). And people that normally buy low end machines don't even know about linux. So who exactly is thier market for this product? or is it intended to fail.

    I have found that only 2-3 brands(out of dozens tried) work decently on anything but the originating drive. I commonly burn "home videos" to SVCD for my DVD player, and PSX "backups", music "backups" in an OLD cdplayer, as well as a quick way to transfer files to my old 486, and the best brand for my uses is verbatim, with fujifilm coming in second. All generic brands seem to fail on at least one of the devices I use except those. Maybe it's just because my burner is japanese that is favors japanese brands, I have no clue.
