    I wrote about a similar demographic shift a few months ago, with regard to parents becoming more involved in video gaming with their children (and how the Wii and games like Guitar Hero help that process immensely).

    I would keep trying; I use XP at home, but I used Ubuntu at work for six months. My only Vista experience has been when I borrow my GF's laptop, but that's been enough to make me think that I'd rather use Ubuntu than Vista. :)

    Not exactly, but it does work for MS's current tactic of throwing billions around and seeing who bites. In that sense, it's exactly like the fisherman's definition of trolling. Or, to be a bit more fair to Microsoft, the "trawling" spelling variant could be used.

    See above reply; essentially, the two complement each other. Grass works on a large scale, such as what is envisioned for corn-based biofuel, whereas waste oil works on a small scale.

    The person I replied to stated that waste oil was not workable on a large scale. And grass is not workable on a small scale. Combine the two, and you have a viable course of action for both large and small scale biofuel resources.

    The Canuk's won't accept an ID card. They have just as many guns and ammo as the US does and they really don't like being screwed with.

    I, as a BC resident, certainly don't see the point. It's an added complication to solve a problem that passports already handle.

    My Razr has the solution for that: Activate voice mode, say "Lookup {name}", and it shows me the number and waits for me to confirm before dialing.

    I've owned it for two years, and I only started playing with this feature a week ago. :)
