am i correct in betting this was a turd cavalier or sunfire? i had the same problem with mine and my brother the "tech" couldn't fix it for weeks although i told him what was wrong. to humor him i did all the things he said new computer, plugs, wires, etc. and about 3 ETC sensors. I finally felt bad for laughing at him all along and fixed it myself without telling him what was done. He still thinks it was the last sensor he put in that did the trick:)

Umm first and foremost any evidence you gathered was gathered through unauthorized search and seizure not to mention is the product of an illegal activity(s) on your part. No authority whether it be federal from the US another countries authority Interpol etc would even consider trying to use that evidence as a bases for an arrest or prosecution ever. Your best bet is to use the information you've gathered to avoid being scammed in the future. I know it sucks to be defrauded like you were but hacking back into their systems is not a way to obtain legal and usable evidence. Even if the evidence you obtained was not gotten illegally I don't know that you'd have followed all the guidelines necessary when obtaining evidence especially electronic evidence...e.g. chain(s) of custody reports bit by bit copies that you can prove undeniably are authentic and intact and identical to the original etc. Use what you have collected and make it impossible for these people to do "business" in the future. You may get some satisfaction by notifying the isps of what happened etc don't go into how you obtained the evidence unless you have to...most isps are lazy and will at least close the accounts in question and possibly if they have correct biling info which i doubt file a fraud report etc and ban that person from getting service in the future....although they probably used fake or stolen billing info to begin with or would just use a new service provider but it's worth it to make them have to do something.

"I'm building a home pc which will have windows and (insert linux build here to sound credible) what apps should I have in it for my family free is good." I'm sorry this is not a reference to utexaspunk or anyone else here nonetheless this has to be said GAMES DO NOT A COLUMBINE KILLER or VIOLENT CHILD MAKE. Fact is if a child wants to go on a killing spree they will do it regardless of what games they have played for that matter any person can do the same. Too many people (read especially absentee and IMO worthless parents) would like to blame games for their failings as parents the pc, game console, tv, were NEVER meant to be babysitters and in this age of latchkey kids and dual income families more parents are expecting this from them. If parents spent more time watching their own damn children and talking with them and being involved in their life and development Columbine like incidents would not be as prevalent. Actually how often do we really see a Columbine like incident? NOT TOO OFTEN. But the media and people who do not want violent games out there would like to make you think they happen everyday. I agree even one death is too much especially in such a violent manner but you can't take the freedom to play these games away from people who are old enough and mature enough to play them. And as far as the US government spending money on something like America's Army I say it's a great idea because some of the people who play it just might end up serving our country and not sitting on the sidelines. Granted some of the reasons we have been forced into situations (G.Dubya Bush's inferiority complex and hard on for Hussein and Iraqi oil to name a few) don't make sense and should never have forced us into controversy, BUT when we need the armed forces which we indeed will someday I'd like to know there's enough of them to protect the country if that becomes necessary. Traditional recruiting for the armed forces has gone stagnant and this is just the next wave and I personally support it 100 percent with my tax dollars.

Let's face it we have all been called spammed etc. The whining your doing here does nothing to fix that. You keep talking about putting all telemarketers out of business yet fail to realize if the legit ones (and yes i have worked for and managed several) are more than willing not to call people who do not want to be called and follow more damn laws than i care to mention. And to the one who advocated commiting assault or murder on an employee at one let me tell you many of these marketing companies employ older citizens unable to work in any other compacity or college kids trying to earn some money while in school...good plan genius.
