    Rereading everything:
    You seem to have some definition of the word "use" that is different from everyone elses, or maybe just how the clauses work together. Sending a threatening letter alluding to violations is using the DMCA. If that is enough to result in the site being shut down because the site owner can't afford a legal battle with the MPAA, then that is using the DMCA to shut down a site.

    Also, I support the notion that it is funny (though not exaggerated sufficiently to work well) and will post my variation in another subthread.

    What I had before:
    Yeah, it'd be nice if every act of perjury got prosecuted, but they aren't and to the best of my knowledge the MPAA and RIAA are well aware of that fact and use it to their advantage.

    But they generally don't consider "robbing a bank" as part of their defense preparedness, so no, they are not prepared to rob a bank to defend their family. Speaking strictly in terms of "prepared defenses" most people are hardly prepared to defend their family at all.

    I have Asperger's, similar to Autism. Show me a picture of a bored person. Tell me the person is bored. If you were to ask me what features would indicate to me that person is bord, I'd be hard press to tell you
    Take the picture away. Show me videos of people and then ask me:
    1. Which of those people have elements that are similar to the bored person.
    I'd be hard pressed to answer that as well.

    I got a new laptop after being away from one for awhile, and got into a new usage pattern in which I frequently choose Turn off computer|Stand by. Once I accidentally hit Log off, and then chose the log off button due to the similarity in its color to the Stand by icon.

    It seems to me that it's easy to get someone to do something to do something they haven't "prepared" to do. (Rob the bank or I'll kill your family for example, or that pizza delivery bomb guy) Much harder if they have prepared against it. If you've talked with your family members and all of them have talked it over and agreed that they would all rather die than have any one of them rob the bank for them then such a scenario becomes much harder.

    Intelligence of the craft doesn't seem to be the problem half as much as sensing what is out there. A UAV uses GPS to tell it where it is, but that doesn't tell it about anything else. That information needs to be shared among all aircraft.

    Where were you when they taught about similes.
    My statement isn't a similie in the strictest sense, but those figures were by no means meant to be exact and were intedend to illustrate that the fluctuations were the problem and not the presence of the EMF itself.

    My point is that there is drift both over and under 60HZ that mostly averages out so looking only at underage when countering is not effective when you get called on it, which you apparently aren't used to.

    But about turning off the power for a day or two. There are other things that effect quality of life that kind of depend on power being on, you know.
