Rereading everything:
You seem to have some definition of the word "use" that is different from everyone elses, or maybe just how the clauses work together. Sending a threatening letter alluding to violations is using the DMCA. If that is enough to result in the site being shut down because the site owner can't afford a legal battle with the MPAA, then that is using the DMCA to shut down a site.
Also, I support the notion that it is funny (though not exaggerated sufficiently to work well) and will post my variation in another subthread.
What I had before:
Yeah, it'd be nice if every act of perjury got prosecuted, but they aren't and to the best of my knowledge the MPAA and RIAA are well aware of that fact and use it to their advantage.
Don't point this out. A great many 'experts' out there are experts for this reason alone and it makes them defensive when somebody just points it out like this.
This is free and apparently better than dial-up. I know a few low-income people on dial-up, so this might address the balance, but my experience is in New Castle, IN and not San Francisco, CA.
Then cut out all the "personal revelation" nonsense. You are trying to write a comparison between an Intel processor and an AMD processor and don't see why you should try an Intel processor first? You like AMD's explanation better? This isn't a matter of who csn write the most entertaining copy. What does the "support the underdog" sentence even mean?
It is my understanding that it is likely you can convince someone under hypnosis that their family will be killed when that is not the case much easier than if they are not hypnotized.
But they generally don't consider "robbing a bank" as part of their defense preparedness, so no, they are not prepared to rob a bank to defend their family. Speaking strictly in terms of "prepared defenses" most people are hardly prepared to defend their family at all.
Emotion is so depressed in society that there is lowered difference between bored and non bored. I'm sick and tired of being told to calm down by the stimulus intolerant.
I have Asperger's, similar to Autism. Show me a picture of a bored person. Tell me the person is bored. If you were to ask me what features would indicate to me that person is bord, I'd be hard press to tell you
Take the picture away. Show me videos of people and then ask me:
1. Which of those people have elements that are similar to the bored person.
I'd be hard pressed to answer that as well.
I got a new laptop after being away from one for awhile, and got into a new usage pattern in which I frequently choose Turn off computer|Stand by. Once I accidentally hit Log off, and then chose the log off button due to the similarity in its color to the Stand by icon.
It seems to me that it's easy to get someone to do something to do something they haven't "prepared" to do. (Rob the bank or I'll kill your family for example, or that pizza delivery bomb guy) Much harder if they have prepared against it. If you've talked with your family members and all of them have talked it over and agreed that they would all rather die than have any one of them rob the bank for them then such a scenario becomes much harder.
Intelligence of the craft doesn't seem to be the problem half as much as sensing what is out there. A UAV uses GPS to tell it where it is, but that doesn't tell it about anything else. That information needs to be shared among all aircraft.
Where were you when they taught about similes.
My statement isn't a similie in the strictest sense, but those figures were by no means meant to be exact and were intedend to illustrate that the fluctuations were the problem and not the presence of the EMF itself.
drop to 59 Hz...
My point is that there is drift both over and under 60HZ that mostly averages out so looking only at underage when countering is not effective when you get called on it, which you apparently aren't used to.
...motors would be getting damaged...
Damaged? How so?
...computers would possibly have problems...
Computers do have problems! By golly I'm going out to demand the power company do something about the computer problems right now!
You hear that Pirates! Thanks to Digital Video Guru, the MPAA knows all your hiding places and are coming after j00!

At least now we have an explanation for how humans came to be batteries.

I get my latest nightly build from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nigh tly/latest-trunk/firefox-1.6a1.en-US.win32.install er.exe
and it says Deer Park Alpha 2. Is there a latest nightly for Bon Echo?
Then those who claim to be the guardians of society accuse and label you an eavesdropper. There's just no winning with them.

Well at least you didn't tell me to calm down.
(To anonymous coward for those of you that reparent comments).

The funny thing is the high-quality rips come from DVDs not camcorders in movie theaters.
Israel surrounded Great Britain? Because everytime I've checked, that's who owned the property before Israel.

China:1,306,313,813
United States: 298,290,000
Get back to me when China doesn't outnumber the United States 4 to 1.
But seriously, what effect does declining population have on either China's stability or beligerence.
Also, what does it say when successive generations are viewed not as hope for the future but a threat to it?

But about turning off the power for a day or two. There are other things that effect quality of life that kind of depend on power being on, you know.
