    If other people don't post their lists, how are other people supposed to know what others find original. If everyone found the same games original, then we could just have one person examine all the games make a list of the original ones and be done with it. The fact that different people find different games original is an argument for you posting a long list of games you find original not against it. Also, what's so bad about your list being nit-picked?

    Those mentioning games that Moby doesn't have can register and submit the game. From the looks of things though, it appears MobyGames isnt interested in Homebrew games.

    I'd rather people take risks that come with their own rewards than creating rewards. It seems to me that I see too many created rewards and not enough inherent.

    You're looking at pressure the wrong way. It isn't the zero pressure that's actually the problem. Its the pressure of the gas in the bubble. The same thing with human beings.

    Also, all those browsers that have done URL completion for years will have to stop doing it, because it's also a (retroactive) violation of this patent.
    From what I understand about this particular patent, this isn't true. Programs are allowed to guess a url, they just aren't allowed to ask about it more than once... The recent Amazon autocomplete patent however, maybe.

    Because then they'd realize they could use it for things and in ways that don't make Microsoft money. As long as Microsoft maintains the illusion that the X-Box is only good for playing Microsoft approved games, it can make up the initial loss off the games, and the X-Box doesnt compete against regular computers, another Microsoft revenue stream.

    I hardly call the understanding that paying $1 is better than paying a $50 parking ticket "respect for the law". Now if you'd pay that $1 even if there wasn't a $50 parking ticket, that would be respect for the law.

    You can determine that some inputs will execute to completion. If you allow only the known completions, you can guarantee security from input that causes an infinite execution time.
