Trackballs are nice for this. I still use a mouse for gaming, but for everything else, i use my trackball, i can just kind of spin it to throw my pointer all the way across the desktop. I've got a 20" ACD and a 15" to the right of it.
I dont know anybody whos gonna buy something like a TV online. Yeah, the TV may be $50 cheaper, but freight shipping is a major PITA, and is probably more expensive total. I'll certanly shop and compare online, but when it comes time to buy something large, heavy and fragile, i wanna put it in my car myself from the store.
Try walking down the street in your $500 studio monitor headphones... Theyre cumbersome and fragile. I have a $70 pair of audio technicas, and i love em for when im sitting at home. But i dont need to mess around with a 5m cord and headphones heavy enough that they slide around while im walking to class or on the bus or something. I have my iPod shuffle on my keychain and the earbuds that came with it fit in any of my pockets and i dont have to worry about them. I've broken enough cheap headphones in my life that i worry about craming my ATs in my backpack.
I'm too lazy to look it up, but didnt the russians use a nuke to carve out a resivoir or something? Besides what everyone else has already said about nudging asteroids away from earth, its theorized that terraforming of mars could be jump started by nuking the poles.
Logitech has wireless ipod headphones with controls built in. Just a transmitter that plugs into you ipod. I dont know how well they work, but logitechs stuff is usually pretty solid.
Whys everyone bitching. I'm watching adult swim on my second monitor (off my PCI 9200) from my AIW 9800Pro right now. Never had any problems with it, other than the ocasional instability when i've got the TV on and have too many browser tabs open.
Even on the medium setting, the combine soldiers in HL2:LC seemed pretty damn smart, at least on the cliffs. Flanking manuvers, well placed 'nades, shooting the bridge in front of you down... Then again there was the old school pop-up shooting gallery in the church.:P
C'mon. You're right you're not gonna be with little johnny 24/7, but lets say hes gonna play GTA somehow. Either you bought it for him and its you'r fault, or he goes over to little jimmys house after school and plays it. If he's playing it at jimmys house, whos fault is it? Jimmys parents who bought jimmy the game and are letting little johnny play it. When i was younger i had friends whos parents wouldnt let us watch rated R movies because they weren't ok with their kids watching them and assumed that nobody elses parents would be either.
You can be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor if you buy a kid a beer, because alcohol consumption is illegal for persons under 21. I believe the same goes for pornogrophy (someone wanna clue me in to if its actually illegal for minors to buy porn?). You can not be charged for selling to or buying an R rated movie or M rated video game for a minor, since these things are not illegal for them to posess like alcohol or tobacco. These are industry policies. The ratings are defined by private groups and sales policies are determined by the individual retailer. Some, like walmart, wont sell these to minors. Others will and its not against the law.

Isn't South Park done in flash? I know a lot of Adult Swim is done in flash...

With any luck they'll be creating a concrete eating microbe. Sucker.

Can you even buy airline tickets with cash?
They still charge you $3 for a soda. The profit margins on soda are rediculous...

No way the Xbox2 could compete with the PS3... *rolls eyes*
Good tom clancy stuff, but the tech is still too far off for it to only be 2010.:(
Well, its not as free as the rest of HL2, theres not a lot of options as to what you can do to pass the mission. 1 path, thats about it.
