its not current DVD-r technology, its just the MPAA sucessfully managing to scare the companies into making lower capacity disks so people couldn't make dvd copies easily, theres no technical reason a recordable dvd can't be the industrial 7gb or so size other

well of course all aging gamers should be careful of this
I remember sophmore year my chemistry teacher told us a story about sodium and why we couldn't use it. Apparently some years ago a student stole a whole log/rod of pure sodium and took it home with him, long story short he ended up in ICU for several weeks after shards of his toilet severd a few major arteries. He then proceded to tell us after a school board ruling all the sodium from all the schools was rounded up by the fire department to be disposed of. The fire department didn't know what to do with it. They went out to a small lake somewhere and tossed it out, the chunks of soduim skittered around the lake for quite a while and caused several thousand dollars of property damage to docks and docked boats. I'm not sure if this is true, he was a little off, but its plausible.
almost neo-alchemy, this would be great though, mining has really destroyed a lot of the environment around my state (wisconsin), most people think mining is physically diging out ore deposits and whatnot, actually IIRC current mining tecniques involve pumping poisins into the soil that deslove whatever minerals they want then they pump them back up and extract what they want
What wouldn't be legal? Its space, its like international waters. I didn't sign a treaty saying i wouldn't launch any space based weapons platforms. Who's gonna stop me if i wanna launch my weather control machine (evil laugh).
i dunno about you, but i sure enjoy tang... oh, the drink, yeah, thats good too
on a quasi-serious note, tang actually wasn't developed by nasa, it was around before the space program, they just chose to use it, quick google search yelided this interesting page Let Them Eat Fake, damn, now i wanna space food stick
lethal voltages in the system will be microsofts next security measure

i submited that for a story a week ago, at least someone posted it somewhere on here
he shouldn't have won, he should have died but he didn't, you should only win one if you moronically (and humorously) kill or sterilize yourself

i think i read somewhere that apple seeds contain trace amounts of cyanide, may just be an urban legend though

uh-oh, the reds have launched a satelite, better step up our duck and cover drills in case of a nuclear war

Could i get my genome sequenced onto vinyl?
Why does it cost half a million dollars to get your genes on a cd when you can get 'em put on a t-shirt for 50 bucks?
i have to say, this is good news for mac users
Kelso: " Man, chicks must love astronauts, it says here they get all the tang they want"

So does this finally mean i can finally buy my own space shuttle?
hey, some of us need free webhosting, as our isps (roadrunner for me) don't like us serving things off our own boxes
Is it just me or does this seem kind of like the interface for the pre-crime computer in Minority Report, only without those half glove thingies.
Has anyone ever mated mules? can you get male mules? what about a mule and a donkey, anybody care to explain the different combos?
great story, nuf said
