  1. Thank you for flying DRM... on Valve Removes Right For Class Action Claims From EULA · · Score: 1

So I just got home for work and first thing that pops up on my computer is the new license.

As a test I decide to not allow for the change (disagree) - now *none* of the games can be started and you can't access any steam downloads - this means you are forced into accepting new terms if you want to play your legally owned games.

Piracy here I come... Also I'm thinking of starting a class action lawsuit to get my money back from the games that I bought...

Yes there is; in the 60s or 70s the US had a fully operational reactor. Kirk Sorensen has some very interesting talks about the history of the US nuclear program and why the reactor was scrapped (think weapons program and something as simple as a guy didn't like another) .

I don't get why we pour so much money into fusion. We have a perfectly fine tested method of doing nuclear power safely using a thorium reactor.

I mean fusion would definitely be a nice spiffy technology, but we know how to do nuclear safely and cleanly; cheap enough to clean up the world, I think estimates on a fully functional reactor (in the US) would be around $10bn - (or we could wait for the Chinese to be done with their design and ask if we can play with their toys).

One madman shooting is bad, having about a 100 people with guns shooting in all directions is definitely not an improvement.

In Denmark guns are illegal except for certain professions (hunters for instance) - the amount of times someone gone on a random killing spree here is 0; interestingly enough, most killings done with guns are done by those who can legally have them, we do have some gangs running around shooting, but they aren't hitting anyone.

Also, you are far more likely to get robbed with a bikestand than a traditional weapon because of the strict laws here.

Some of the dirtiest and most foul mouthed people I've ever worked with was women. And tell you what, I fucking loved it; it was always fun at the lunch table when one of their husbands had screwed up over the weekend, being the only guy working the floor you found yourself center of attention pretty fast when your gender screwed up.

If you can't handle the banter, you should probably find yourself a different working field - it's there for a reason, usually to let the grunts let out steam without hitting their mates over the head with a wrench; this applies across gender and fields.
