    how are they using a satellite connection without going through a PC running Windows? Every report I see at DSLReports.com indicate that there is no way to connect directly to a Mac (or linux). You need Windows to do the ICS because there are no Mac/linux drivers for the satellite modems available.

    For now, many denizens of Extremadura find themselves having to use both operating systems, if for no other reason than to deal with an outside world that still relies heavily on Microsoft.
    That sums up the biggest roadblock every person/company/country will have to go through just to be MS-free.

    Oh, BTW...not only is vlc open source, there's also a drag and drop method for OS X. You don't have to be an advanced user.

    the difference is, Unlike MS IIS, nothing is shipped enabled by default. You have to turn it on manually.

    Also, if you get a script that tells the computer to delete important files, you will have to authenticate or use su.
