They don't believe in competition of any kind. The GPL is the only challenge to the MS monopoly that has a snowballs
chance in hell to make a dent in it.
Over the years I may have met one or two Unix bigots that were trying to eliminate any MS software running in the company
but I have met dozens of MS cult drones that reject anything that does not have the MS stamp of approval on it.
Most of these drones have zero understanding of architecture and infrastructure and why MS is not always one size fits all.

I was also hoping for some punishment for Novell. However if this prevents any future corporate retardation from occurring
then I'm ok with it. As much as I hate Novell for being the trader it is I would rather focus on the greater good and I feel
that this is what is happening.
Being an SA for a large company all I can do is use whatever sway I do have to move away from companies like Novell.
In the end I would like to see Microsoft focus on writing better software to compete with OSS. I have watched them for

against Legitimate countries like Iran anytime soon. Yes there is the slight chance that they may have a
nuclear weapon soon and may decide to use it against the US however the most likely place that they would
strike would be a Largely democratic area like most of the major cities in the US. Good news for republicans who
mostly reside in inland red states. I'm sure after the strike takes place like most problems of the city will be blamed
on the farmers and ranchers living in rural areas. The democratically controlled areas of the country are the most problematic and
this is all the fault of religion and republicans living no where near the problem areas. If New York got nuked would anyone really care? No I don't think so. They are in control and are not worried.

this is the answer to all bad behavior, false accusations, false imprisonment..etc. Just a contest to see who is first to forgive any
act no matter how destructive. For the perpetrators..forgiveness and understanding of how we are all responsible and for the victims...

Can you imagine what Manhattan and the surronding areas looked like before the city was built? Now it is nothing but filth and scum and serves as a breeding ground for vermin. I would like to start an environmental task force made up of coal miners, forestry workers, ranchers, and farmers to put pressure on congress to return it to its natural state and restrict all forms of use other than long range photography. No hiking, biking or any other activity that would harm the natural state of the area after it is returned. Its time we cleaned up the massive environmental catastrophes that are cities. The best folks to do it are the ones that live at least 1000 miles from the place and plan on "someday" taking a vacation there. The folks that are in control of such areas now are devastating them.
Our VM's running AIX on Pseries hardware run the big stuff just fine.

reliability. Its also very easy to clone servers as well as adding and
subtracting resources.

I worked for a company that did robotic inspections of heat exchangers. We had portable data acquisition units with metal cases and of course the metal case was connected to the ground wire on the three pronged plug. We kept blowing power supplies and communication interfaces on those boxes. One day we decided to check the metal grating the boxes were sitting on inside the reactor building with a volt meter. It measured over 120 volts to ground. So we clipped the ground wires on everything and wrapped the boxes in plastic and wouldn't you know it no more problems.
We have two boys and 7 computers. I got them started early. Now I can have a lan game if the
internet connection is down or team attack when everything is working. My older son is playing
games to acquire virtual property and sell it on ebay. Who knows a few more kids and I can retire
to the basement forever.
I make just under 6 figures doing unix administration. Compared to Professional Athletes or Movie Actors I am making
"Slave Wages". My Chinese friend (backup admin) across the isle (just moved here from china) says the workers would
rather be paid "slave wages" than not have the job. Maybe the whaa whaa crowd should ask the workers how they feel
before condemning their situation.
