Good job, you just ruined the very basic of an MMO : tricking the player into doing something repetitive so he goes on spending his time (and money) online. A propos farming : If you're (supid?/fan?/addicted?)like me, you have 10 characters, one of each class. It takes time and dedication to equip them all so they get each to a "satisfactory point of achievement". It takes a HUGE amount of farming (reputation, reagents, AND money, which is simply a faster way of getting the first two). When farming, you have to kill things (except of mining, herbing and fishing). When you do have a tight time schedule, you logically use the fastest killer with least downtime to do the dirty job for all of the other characters, one specific farming task at a time (motes, dailies, mining, etc). This is what i would somewhat name "playing efficiently". And afaiak and imho, this isn't against the EULA nor anything in any way. To sum it up, my point of view is that farming is necessary to the survival of an MMO. Take this away, and a big part of a player's online time disappears (as a sidenote, farming is a cheap way for designers to make it last longer).

But the real point behind my reply is the following : "limit farming of grey items / limit AH prices / limit money transfer". Your statement is really out of topic : the problem being discussed here is about automatic-play, not about regulating virtual economy.

  9. Wireless kbd on standard pc... on Wireless Keyboard "Encryption" Cracked · · Score: 1

Just a simple question, which might sound stupid :

Aside from the two examples i found in the comments (media centers, dentist), though i guess a cabled mouse could be a pain, and wireless mice are sometimes more comfortable, i still wonder about the need for wireless KEYBOARDS.

Clearly, many, *many*, MANY people bought a wireless keyboard, put it on their desk, drop the base 10cm away from it, and plug the usb cable from the base into their *fixed* home workstation, which never ever moves.

They also have a comfortable chair with wheels, that never ever moves further than 1m. And when it moves, and you do sit on it, you usually don't (ie, never) bring your kdb with you on our trip.

So, i ask once again : apart from the above 2 example why would a standard user use a wireless keyboard at home ?

For a country of free speach, US can only fool themselves. Yeah, i live in Europe. France more precisely. It is not that perfect, i know. But i can live there, have any friend i want, love whoever i want, be black or white, without being classified as a terrorist, get shot down, accused of being a communist (what the hell ! 60's are a bloddy 40 years ago ! Forget it man !). Well, i'll stop that, i have some work to do.

As i have spent a whole year in Canada and saw that people can be northern american, english speaking people, be fond of guns, eat burger king, and NOT be stupid.

Please note that i have nothing against the USA. My only wish is that they open their eyes and mind, shut their mouth, and stop to behave as if they were alone on this planet.

I usually write my comments very carefully, to be only constructive. Sorry for that flamebait, but it seems many people in the US seem lacking basic 'common sense'. Damn, some can maybe not name all 5 continents ! (and refering to bowling for columbine, some people do not even know Gandhi).
