What i find annoying is that words like fuck have some sort of magical value attached to them.
I mean, when you watch TV and someone says "You *beep*ing mother *beep*er", or when someone writes "f**k", you know exactly what it means, so it's not the meaning the censors find offensive but the arrangement of letters or sounds.

I think the US just has irrational taboos created by religion for no particular reason other than maybe control.
Would you really be scarred for life if you see some breats at age 6, or turn into a dangerous criminal if you hear someone say 'shit' once in a while?

    - Computer aided augmentation, help the brain with functions it's not very good at like calculating large numbers.
    - Image streaming from your eyes, photography, movies like in one of William Gibson's books, i think it was Monal Lisa Overdrive, you wouldn't need to be an artist to recreate an image you have in your mind.

Probably not likely to have any of that any time soon though. =\

If it's so vague you can't find a definition for it, why have one at all?

Why not just classify objects by their mass, radius, orbit, maybe temperature and other significant information too?
-For example, you have an object of a certain mass classified as M# where # is its location on an exponential mass scale.
-Then you add R# for its size.
-Then have O# for degree of orbit, where # = 1 + (O# of the object it orbits), having something like the galactic center as the O# = 0.

Then you could use any of the characteristics as needed.
