Develop a browser plugin that when entering a domain it will check the history of ownership for that domain. If the domain is under dispute, give the user the option to choose with which owner they wish to view, the current or previous. You control the database of what owners are fighting over what and technically it sounds as simple as modifying the hosts file.
The trick is to get it popular enough. The goal here is not to propigate this function on your own but get microsoft excited enough to steal the whole concept and wrap it in their latest browser. Now that tabbed browsing is finally being included who knows what comes next?

If they could create another development team that could take a manageable portion of the wow game, and recreate another genre game it would make sense for the blizzard style of small teams working to create big projects.
If players could play both games for a heavy discount they could keep the game from cannibalizing itself.
If they could just fix the PVP system so people could actually find a battleground easier then guildwars. Maybe they wouldn't find themselves developing an industry with a hunger they can't fullfill and watching them flock to inferior games that deliver what was expected. Mr ultima said this a while ago, and I see it more and more.
Guild wars servers are broken up into districts that take 45 seconds to switch. Warcraft servers are broken in general and once you pick a server you are stuck with it.
Thus I pay $15 a month for the ability to play with a fraction of the playerbase available do to poor planning. VS guildwars one time fee and unlimited play, that you can actually play. But, its just not as fun.
WinFS was going to be released with longhorn. So you push something back, push it back again, then release a beta, and your suddenly ahead of schedule?
And at the same time I think your right. They rushed it out the door and its going to be absolutely terrible.
