Actually if they buy the add on 747 package for the cockpit and FMC you only would need one machine and its more than real enough. rembere they didn't have to land only bank it through some turns and maintain an altitude.
Yeah I grew up in NH and pop was not used either. The only place I know in the north east is out near buffalo but they are usually a little whacked anyways:)
Actually its either an A320 or A340. The 380 doesn't go into service till 2006. But the thing is crazy when it does go into service there wont be anything else in the air like it. boeing doesn't have anything in the works to match it.
A friend of mine had to return his HD to the manufacturer because it was defective. Before he returned it he stopped by my professors office and asked what he should do to whipe the drive of infringing material. She smiled... asked for the drive and then proceded to put it on top of this huge magnet and flipped the switch. Waited a minute or two then handed the drive back to him. It was actually very funny to watch:)
Actually there is a real reason why he doesn't switch to the metric system. If he is a carpenter in the US all building codes and lumber wholesalers use the imperial system. So it would counter productive for him to use the metric system...
Just out of curiousity why don't you like/var/qmail/ ?
I like qmail because it is very easy to modify/hack for different env. and was easy to plug different programs in. Is the source for postix easy to work with?

"The thing that many people still just don't get about Java is that it was designed to supply this kind of safety *without* impacting performance."
Hmmm without "performance impact".... I've never seen a program written in java that didn't have a performance impact...
And don't give me this crap of oh its "fast enough" or "you can just throw more horsepower/ram at it"... I've never seen a java program compete on the same ground as a C/C++ counterpart.
repeat after me "insulin is not a recreational drug" ....
Move to upstate NH and you'll understand the "last country mile" problem alot better ;-)
... hell in orange (where they live) they change the population sign for ever birth and funeral in town :)
My cousins can't even get cable

I wouldn't go so far as to say that. I still like having my X session next to my quartz. its nice to be able to export back to my mac.
actually I have office for OS X and it actually seems to run fine ... very well if you consider I have 466 G3 ibook.

Hmmmm ... "looks great" ....
If thats your idea of great I'm scared to ask what looks bad.

I guess I should remember never click a slashdot link when you don't know where its going.
That reminds me of the simpsons episode where Moe changes the bar to a family resturant.
Moe: And I got this deep frier from the Navy. It can flash fry a buffalo in 3 seconds.
Homer (in a whiney voice): But I want it now.
