Still, Windows will create artifacts (lnk files, histories, etc) to the files on either Truecrypt volume. A skilled forensic person will be able to testify that volume you provided the password for does not have the correlating files that can be seen in the artifacts.
While they will not be able to prove they contain the suspect data, plausible deniability becomes less plausible.
Much of forensics is being able to correlate the existence of a known file on a filesystem against other evidence, such as another computer that did not employ the protective measures. The point of the article is that TrueCrypt is not enough (and really hasn't been due to the number of artifacts that XP already leaves)- you will have to take a number of measures to cover your tracks which can be quite time intensive.
TrueCrypt is a wonderful product. I use it myself to encrypt corporate data. However, every now and then I play with EnCase on my laptop to see what is left behind and it makes me even more paranoid when I have nothing to hide.

I have two realtives who have recently returned from tours of duty. They don't voice their opionion about the politics. Their goal is to do the most amount of good that they can with the orders they were provided. They've accomplished setting up running water and electricity to villages that have never had those luxuary's before, organized Boy Scout troops, help rebuild schools.
What have you done with your life to make a difference? Was fucked up situation have you tried to make the best of?

I encourage you to talk to a few soliders who have returned. Talk to the grunts, talk to the officers, talk to the medics, talk to the engineers. Then you might see a BIGGER picture, and that the guys with their necks on the line are doing the best they can in a piss poor situation.

The burden of proof is on the state when prosecuting crimes. They must establish that the "actor" was underage and/or non-consenting. The good thing is, though, there is a fairly established database of "known" child porn, and offenders usually have quite a collection.
This topic is a sore spot to me, as I have met a few of these offenders during my career. Arrests have been made, charges have been given, but more often than not, they are given suspended sentances (first time/non-violent offenders).
