I can't wait. I have several dozen (Still Going) Mp3's shared on Kazaa.
They all have different names like:

All of which are my peronal ramblings about the songs or artists. None of which contains copywrited material. F*ck the RIAA. I get letters from them all the time at work.

Ummm... Let's start with a fun one. On a friday, MS release a 'security' patch. I did a little reading on it, and installed it on my wife's Laptop running XP home. No sooner did she reboot, but the Microsoft wireless pcmcia card would no longer work. My RedHat laptop has no problems connecting, neither did my playstation2.
While this was anoying for the patch to break connectivity, it actually secure the device!
She couldn't get out, and they couldn't get in!
The only true way to secure a computer 99% is to unplug it, and lock it in a safe.
I have got to agree with you 100%. I worked for a company that designed medical equipment for use in the field (ie... cardiac monitors).
When I started riding on the ambulance vollenteer, I noticed that these things were throw around, tossed on the ground, used to support body weight... All things they were never designed to do. In the field they use what they have available to them at the time.
If it's not designed for the job, plan on replacing them often.

how often do MS patches actually break things?

O'Doyle Rules!
I purchase music I like, but I get most if it by recording the digital music channels late at night with my ReplayTV, and copying them to my PC.
I'd rather buy a CD directly from the artist then from the Music company.
I've got the case design down pat...
WeebleWobbles...
They're self righting... "They weeble and they wobble, but they don't fall down"
I even have the project name down:
WWWWF
(WeebleWobbles with WiFi)
Who's With Me???
Umm 6' x 4'??
How about 4" diameter, weighing 6lbs.
Later in the article they talk about a "six-pack in the backpack". Sir you have a mighty large backpack...
Ok... Have you read the copyright law?
Did you read the part where the copyright owner can authorized copies, and derivative works?
I have got to agree with you 100%. I worked for a company that designed medical equipment for use in the field (ie... cardiac monitors).

I didn't know they were giving parts of the MCSE exams today...
Umm Ok

Whew, these MS exams are tough!
I wonder if they could calculate the gain of the ant. I'd love to see that.
double the output for every 3db... Sounds like a lot of sterile geeks in the desert now.
Dept of Justice, come on, you should be able to nail SCO under the RICO laws for this...
Ok... maybe it's that "new math" thing, but when did 600+200+100=300?
Photoshop $600
XP $200
(no charge for server seat with XP pro)
But not giving a cent to MS...Priceless
Pay for Photoshop????
And unlike the rest of the world, Redhat actually (eventually) gets to see the so-called evidence!
GO REDHAT!!!!!!!!
I'm on my way to purchase a boxed copy of RedHat Professional for my IBM thinkpad!
I love it...
Ok everyone...you know the drill...
1) Sue SCO

print "2)Win\n3)profit";
} else {
die();
}
Hmm... maybe not
Think about it... 6 Divx movies in the palm of your hand...
Now to create a card reader/decoder for my DVD player...
I have to agree with your statements here. In the early 90's I replaced my tape and vinyl. I probably spent a few hundred dollars on CD's.
But I was replacing my 60's - 70's Classic Rock collection. Ok so my bootleg Greatful Dead I recently burned on CD, but I replaced everything else.
The last Couple of CD's I've bought were also replacments.
The RIAA hasn't lost a cent from me, but I also haven't purchased more then $50 worth in the last 5 years.
Maybe if they signed more then just crap manufactured bands, I'd start buying again.
Until then my eclectic CD's of Boston and Bach (yes Classical is wonderful, and free)will keep me movin'
Oh Mormon...
I thought you were saying SCO's board members were Morons...
Oh wait...
With all the computer equipment in the family room, I already need ear protection.
Fan on the Replay TV, fan on the Playstation, Fan on the 4 computers at the desk, Fan in the stereo, fan on the damn DVD player...
I'm going deaf, but they want to protect the electronics in the $45 DVD player...
snip snip... turn AC up a bit...
I've already started seeding...t
