    It only works because most americans are too lazy to take advantage of the system. It wont work in Europe just like free refills doesn't work in Europe because everybody just buys a "small" and refill it.

    It's amazing to go the US and realize all these nice offers you get, just by not being stupid and lazy.

    No Ogg Vorbis is completly sucky when it comes to more than 2 channels. There is no speaker mapping information, and there is no cross-channel compression.

    Most Avi-files you "find" are called Xvids or Divx, not avi.

    There is no clear distinction, but yours is really wrong.

    The best I've seen was:
    Nerds: Intelligent, technology obsessed.
    Geeks: Weird kids in general (originally: someone that does weird and especially gross things)
    Dorks: Anyone who lack social skills

    Most stereotype nerds are a geeky and dorky.

    Very stupid and very annoying idea!

    It fails to account for the fact that spammers use fake FROM-addresses, and stupid &%@! SMTP servers bounce the email to the fake FROM-address. I receive around 10000 bounced spam-emails per day of this type because one spammer somewhere decided to use my domain as a fake FROM-address.

    Just discard the email. Don't bounce!

    Those so called "API"'s are quite vendor specific and very flexible.

    If you only programmed directly for the API, you would get something like Civ 4, a game with average graphics, but that needs a top graphics card.

    I don't know any currencies defined relative to the dollar. There is a few and falling number of currencies that try to stay stable compared to the dollar, but they are not defined by it.

    The problem is also that a 5 month old baby only has the mental capacity of a small animal, yet we want it to have a greater right to life (we kill dogs if no one wants them).

    Getting too scientific about the issue, could give us some very unpleasant results, some that our biology might not like us to make.

    There is no excuse for using STL. It is crappy, buggy, slow and impossible to debug.

    If you need higher abstraction features like that, you are using the wrong language. Try Java or C#

    There is no scientific definition of when human life starts. Such an idea will always be religious or philosophical.

    In that sense the "secular" definition of when human life starts, are the limits we make for legal abortion. Something like 20 weeks.
