It only works because most americans are too lazy to take advantage of the system. It wont work in Europe just like free refills doesn't work in Europe because everybody just buys a "small" and refill it.
It's amazing to go the US and realize all these nice offers you get, just by not being stupid and lazy.
No Ogg Vorbis is completly sucky when it comes to more than 2 channels. There is no speaker mapping information, and there is no cross-channel compression.
There is no clear distinction, but yours is really wrong.
The best I've seen was: Nerds: Intelligent, technology obsessed. Geeks: Weird kids in general (originally: someone that does weird and especially gross things) Dorks: Anyone who lack social skills
No, because the media only reports the news of new research. They never go back and states: Btw, the new research we reported yesterday have been utterly ridiculed by the rest of the scientific community.
It fails to account for the fact that spammers use fake FROM-addresses, and stupid &%@! SMTP servers bounce the email to the fake FROM-address. I receive around 10000 bounced spam-emails per day of this type because one spammer somewhere decided to use my domain as a fake FROM-address.
I don't know any currencies defined relative to the dollar. There is a few and falling number of currencies that try to stay stable compared to the dollar, but they are not defined by it.
The problem is also that a 5 month old baby only has the mental capacity of a small animal, yet we want it to have a greater right to life (we kill dogs if no one wants them).
Getting too scientific about the issue, could give us some very unpleasant results, some that our biology might not like us to make.

No. ASFAIK* only in the US are corporations considered people. Everyone else in the world can tell the difference.
* There might be another crazy country somewhere, but no EU country does it
I certainly hope so, but it's not that easy. You need both to be both an audio expert and an open-source geek.

It is a problem for AVI!
Most Avi-files you "find" are called Xvids or Divx, not avi.
No the problem is that it is based on Science Fiction, not Fantasy like the Bible.
All real religions are based on Fantasy, _non_ Science Fiction.
We have to stop those who try to group those two completely different genres together.
(Yes, I am not being entirely serious here).

Most stereotype nerds are a geeky and dorky.

If you don't go all in against a significant chip leader, when you have the better hand, you are never going to win in poker.
Not even a job where you can screw up another company and get another multi-million-dollar severance package, without doing anything?
Now there's the metaphysical mumbojumbo everybody accused the GP post of!
Microsoft could certainly do so, and if they don't try to leverage it to expand their monopoly, it will even have a high chance of success.
Unfortunately it is not in their nature to do so.
Very stupid and very annoying idea!

Just discard the email. Don't bounce!
Why the same reason you install any Microsoft Software, because you like a challenge.
It would change the tune of Germany and Poland. No one use any significant amount of Russian oil.
Those so called "API"'s are quite vendor specific and very flexible.
If you only programmed directly for the API, you would get something like Civ 4, a game with average graphics, but that needs a top graphics card.
The most of those pints and pounds are metric pints and pounds.

No developer for OSS, is like doing 500 hot chicks. So much needs to be done, and you can possible cover it all, but you are having great fun trying.
Or a CPU company selling CPUs claiming to make the internet go faster

Coverage provides this service for free for most larger open source projects.
There is no excuse for using STL. It is crappy, buggy, slow and impossible to debug.
If you need higher abstraction features like that, you are using the wrong language. Try Java or C#
No. Just no.
There is no scientific definition of when human life starts. Such an idea will always be religious or philosophical.
In that sense the "secular" definition of when human life starts, are the limits we make for legal abortion. Something like 20 weeks.
