All PDA development seems to be geared toward media and organization.
Some of us (geeks/coders) just want a portable UNIX system. I wish the Debian/Zaurus port wasn't abandoned. X11 on such a thing would kick some serious ass.
Anyways, if you want more than a gameboy/organizer, check out the Sharp Zaurus SL-5500. The 5600 really skimps on RAM, so ignore it.
FreeCraft is a game on its own, that is compatible with Warcraft levels and graphic files. This is much more like Microsoft shutting down OS X because it(Samba really) can communicate with Windows.
I'm in the USA(where freedom of speech is violated quite often.) I don't know if European nations have a similar freedom, but it seems to me that this is a load of crap.
I shouldn't have to pay the bandwidth costs for someone else's opinion any more than they should have to pay them for mine. It violates my right to free speech if I have to spread their ideas and their right if they have to spread mine.
If this ever comes out in the states, I'll send so many replies to M$ that it won't even be funny. Then their legal team can find the loophole and I can use that same loophole on my own sites.
1. Microsoft has yet to pull anything off to my satisfaction.
2. This is probably just an excuse to break with NTFS as the kernel developers are nearing compatibility. I suspect WinFS will be completely closed "for security reasons" and anyone using it will be prohibited from writing Linux code as well.
Is there an opposite of the disorder? I absorb massive quantities of caffeine without getting hyper, and I can code for days on a single project with just the occasional break for more caffeine or food.
On another note: I am the only person I know who has not been diagnosed with having ADD or ADHD. What percentage of those tested come up positive?

also uses Opie. I prefer it over QPE, but I'd still rather have a distro based upon X11.
When I'm done with my latest project, I might take some time to for OZ for X11 use.
I doubt I could stand an iPAQ. A unix box w/out a keyboard is basphemous!
Athlon 2000+! It's only 1.3ghz, but it beats a 2ghz Pentium4!
How long until: Backport GNU/Linux, now with the Linux 0.2 kernel it's 1.00000001 times as GNU as the SCO-encumbered 2.4 kernel Debian GNU/Linux.
If he counts blogs as individual sites, there must be millions on /..org along!
My zaurus has 64mb of ram, 256mb of SD, 128mb of CF, and 32mb of internal flash. Don't tell me that can't hold the necessary libraries.
Hell, the Agenda VR3 fit X11 and FLTK into its pitiful amount of ram and storage.
The majority of blogs are on Blog sites or fourth level entries with a port number tagging along.
The "tiny" weblog won't be prevalent for long as the larget ones get advertising and the smaller ones are drowned out by "free blog" sites.

Why are we focusing on SK and not their commie neighbors?
Will this affect anything more? Motherboard prices? CPU prices? Weapons of mass destruction?
The commies are coming!

I buy hardware based upon the hardware's merits and my grudges against the manufacturer.
So technically, I am not a potential OS customer, and I invalidated my own argument. Oh well, I'll win another later.
Within a decade, the entire nation of Sweden will be composed of crypto specialists, for the sole reason that it's illegal.
IIRC, it didn't take that long for my entire nation to become aquainted with booze. Hell, some of my teachers still run moonshine after all this time!

I'm no longer a potential customer.
The Apple iBook I bought doesn't count because it's in the past and only future sales matter.
So my Apple iBook must be a pirated copy...

Screw the G5; I'm buying a dual opteron!
The first and only time I played pokemon I thought, "Damn! This is just a Magic Candle ripofff!"
Five minutes later, I was bored out of my mind and reaching for my 80286 DOS laptop with Magic Candle in autoexec.bat
My automotive mechanics teacher has been telling about this since the first semester of my freshman year.
Is the timeline new? Is the reprinting of such information new? Is this just a slow news day?
On another note: 42 volts makes a lot more sense. No one with half a brain would ever forget it.
For every second of rendered footage you would save yourself two and a half minutes of render time.
(OK, the real reason is that they want to play Quake on the thing, but need two supercomputers to make it a fair game.)
Compare it to videos that exist in their own right, rather than just to sell toys. Examples include Power Rangers, Transformers, Pokemon...
