by some happy incident, I saw a discovery channel documentary on the exact topic yesterday; let's see how much I remember:

    1) this was explained along the lines of "the lander also moved sideways, not just downwards" and that some very little dust could be seen. weak explanation..

    2) the fabric is translucent, so both sides would be lit even if you only have one single light source; weak point

    3) the shape and direction of the shadows do depend on the surface they fall on; very weak point.

    4) while putting up the flag it was moved and shaken; in space, that movement will continue for a longer time and it might look like wind, when in fact the flag moved only after it had been touched. weak point, especially since there are quite a few images / flics where you see astronauts pass by the flag and it wouldn't budge (in a studio, it certainly would have!)

    5) go to a beach near you, set up a single light source and photograph your girl friend (or light sabre, whichever is available to you). you won't see any stars on you photo (a matter of contrast, I think - maybe some pro photographer can explain that in technical terms). weak point.

the documentary refuted all but the first of your points quite plausibly; yet, I'm really not sure about that dust thing.

    WORD HISTORY:
It is fitting that the name of an authoritarian political movement like Fascism, founded in 1919 by Benito Mussolini, should come from the name of a symbol of authority. The Italian name of the movement, fascismo, is derived from fascio, bundle, (political) group, but also refers to the movement's emblem, the fasces, a bundle of rods bound around a projecting axe-head that was carried before an ancient Roman magistrate by an attendant as a symbol of authority and power. The name of Mussolini's group of revolutionaries was soon used for similar nationalistic movements in other countries that sought to gain power through violence and ruthlessness, such as National Socialism.

Here in Germany, fascism began to become really bad when the Nazis started comparing people with "objectionable opinions" to animals, justifying all the WWII crimes and prosecution.

Well, it might be some sort of plan. See "The 14 Defining Characteristics Of Fascism here. Interesting note:

"As of January 2004, the United States fulfills all fourteen points of fascism and all seven warning signs are present. But we're not alone. Israel also fulfills all fourteen points and all seven warning signs as well. Welcome to the new republic, redefined, revised and spun. It is not too late to reverse this in either country, but it will be soon. The first step is realizing it. The second step is getting involved. As the propaganda slogan disguising our current war goes, "Freedom isn't free." But our war for freedom isn't abroad; it's here at home."

I think you're missing the point: capitalism will only work as long the majority of (rather poor, hard-working) people earn the rich people's money. At a stock exchange, no money is "made", it is merely redistributed (like everywhere else). But who creates the values?
If you are too far down on the capitalist ladder, all you can do is watch the big money being made/spent by a few others.
