Microsoft wouldn't do this. It's completely out of the question. It would give competitors a very very large market to take over and grow in. Microsoft would rather take just about anything Monti could throw at them.
MS does not charge for their media player. You buy the OS, regardless of whether or not WMP comes with it. WMP is included free of charge.
So, instead of specifying webbrowser, media player, kitchensink on the bill, they just specify one cost and label it windows. Yeah, that means it's FREE! WOW!
Your sister is attached to the shark's tooth right? It's material right? So... you see where I'm going? Teeth are mass-produced too. I have lots in my mouth, and so do you (hopefully).

That's your opinion, not fact. I have five-six years worth of pictures that I store in three different locations. These are important to me. The drives they are stored on are not. They can be replaced. The fact that they are stored as ON/OFF states and not as glossy pictures in a book does not alter their uniqueness.
It's there to provide funding for the public tv network Sveriges Television and radio Sveriges Radio. These are by law required to produce varied content for all tastes and are not allowed to broadcast advertising.
I agree that the idea of a TV-license is crazy though.
At my university Latex is used mostly by the Math and Physics students. PhDs (all fields) all know Latex, since that's what you'll use if you're going to publish something.
OSX Definitely supports three-button mice. Even Apple's own browser Safari opens links in tabs when middle-clicked. So this is a serious flaw with Firefox IMHO.
I don't think it would take very long at all. I've been to the US a couple of times and it never took me more than a day to get used to MPH. Drive a couple of different distances and you get a feel for the units. When it comes to gas pumps the only concern is the price for one full tank of fuel and how far it will get you.
The biggest hurdle is in peoples minds, they think it's going to be hard when it's really simple.

I thought BSD already made Mac users pretty happy...
Yes, I know. But no, that's not the issue. I read a lot of FAQs and guides on the issue and it seems that a lot of people also had trouble with certain specific cars. A large portion of the car models can be found parked at certain locations, but some can only be found criusing around the streets. If you're lucky you'll find the car you need within a few minutes, if not, well....
I still loved VC though, it's my all time favourite purchase for the PS2.
6. A system for vehicle generation that doesn't suck ass (get in a truck, drive around, pretty soon 90% of the cars out are trucks).
I second that. When I was in the process of beating VC, I needed an old car for one of the lists (I-something) and it took me about a week of mucking around VC before I finally ran across one.
There's a game that sort of fits the description. It's called True Crime: Streets of LA
The only problem with that game is that it sucks. The story is that of any crappy "bad cop" movie spiced with a father who died under mysterious conditions and supernatural beings. The game has some interesting features, but they are all executed poorly. GTA ran much smoother and was prettier graphics-wise.
The cop-perspective idea is interesting still though, if only someone did it right. I guess it would have to be rockstar games to pull that off.
It's really simple. When using any program the only way to keep formatting intact is to use that program's own format. Saving only to MS formats from OO is like saving your multi-layered photoshop projects only to jpeg.
All I remember from my first-year physics lectures is how they made my neck hurt... well, either that or my knees hurt. There was simply no way to sleep comfortably there, though the professors voice sure made it easier.
When my Linux experience was next to none I tried SuSE 8.2. A few things bothered me. How would I get the camera to work. And how would I ge my hdd-based mp3 player to mount?
Well, first I plugged in my digicam. Voila, an icon on the desktop appeared, indicating that my camera was ready to be explored. No problems there.
Second, I plugged in my mp3-player. Voila, a mountpoint was automatically created and all I had to do was click a button.
Windows never did that. I had to fiddle with buggy drivers.
The problem is copyright law, and how it went from a mutual agreement between author and readers to a tool for 'creators' to guarantee an income. I'm not saying the girl is innocent, but it's a two-way street-
The other problem is the amount they're demanding.

Sweden, same thing.

It does work.
I'm using Safari 1.2 and I haven't had any problems. The page does look better in FireFox, but it certanly works with Safari.

Wow, thanks. Now when I need to know how to enjoy music I'll come to you.
Don't give them any ideas!
Solution to 1:
Enter "about:config" in the URL bar and apply a filter for "mouse"
Double click and change:
mousewheel.withnokey.sysnumlines to "false"
and
mousewheel.withnokey.numlines to "3"
The value "3" is what I've found comfortable, but test other values as well, changes take effect instantly.
What? WHAT?

Things that don't play well on a console:
FPS
RTS (Like Warcraft 3)
Things that do play much better on a console:
Beat-em-ups
Racing games
GTA3/VC
Sports (SSX and others)
Action/Adventure
Plus, with a comfy couch and a good TV, consoles beat the crap out of a computer when having friends over.

Yes, ofcourse they're all connected to #foo on CampNET.

I can't see any pictures, all I get is text/plain.

It really isn't.

Melinda vs Tove in karate and Bill vs Linus in a drinking contest.
:)
I know where I'd put my wager
Again, why do you think this is innovative?
Ok, who else has done this? Or is doing this?
Granted, I've never tried it, but I think I'd like the feature very much. Something for the WMs to work on, perhaps?
