I hate small phones, but I think if you could make a smaller sim, it could be better.

Exactly - here, in Romania, if you want to make a transaction you need to input 2 separate codes from a token - once to log in (you are logged out if you don't use the application/webpage/whatever for a few minutes depending on the bank) and once to approve the transaction.

The new tokens from my bank are a pain in the ass - you need a token/a card/the sum you want to transfer and a pin just to make the transaction, the old token was simpler - you needed only the token and the pin.

I run a small computer service... I'm must say I was tempted to do just what the other poster said. But hell just because of that temptation I just make a small script to grab anything relevant from C: dump it in D: or whatever storage the client wants it and never look at anything they have in there. If they have and explicit request I go find the files and sort them, but only if they ask.

I once had to recover some pictures from an SD... the client was a bit strange in her request, she wanted to assist all the process. Seeing this I just showed here how to undelete the files and how to move them to her thumb drive and never even looked at what she recovered. She was so happy about this that I still have her as a client after 3 years.

All this because I know all the shit and lines you have to endure here to get your ID's back. A few years ago you could have found even debit cards in them, not any more.

(We don't include family photos and films here or other stuff that needs dedicated backup)

As some of you said - we all have some spare space on our systems, hell I use may parents computers for off-site back-up for years. I can have access to it but it costs to much to keep my hardware online for a "maybe I'll need that" once in a blue moon.

So at this point gmail is ideal - it has the best search and you can access everything in a few seconds if you have an internet connection.

Make a script to grab all the user data... desktop/my documents/outlook profiles/mozilla backup/messenger profiles and what ever they have in there and just slap a new windows.
