"Bodies and weapons"... what I don't get is the fact they didn't event hint at looking at the gunship.
And the guy that was requesting the permission to engage was on an adrenalin rush, he was careful not to say anything else... just "bodies and weapons" from my point of view the guy knew that the van was not a threat.
You can use Western Union/National postal services or other services - all you need is the name and the address. In some cases only the name and the city you want it delivered.
In Romania - Posta Romana even comes to your door and hands you the money. I know is crazy - the lady that delivers the mail around here handed me the equivalent of 2000 euros in the street in front of my house. It's insane, but it is how it works.
Here anyone employed usually has a bank account to receive the paycheck.
If I want to make a transfer via internet it takes me 2-3 minutes, if the transfer is to an account in the same bank it is instantly available, if it's between banks the money are available in 1-2 hours. The fee for less the 100 dollars is like 1 dollar and for more then 100 is like 2 dollars, half in the same bank.
I wouldn't recommend summatra pdf:(. It's slow and sometimes it has problems displaying some.pdfs. Foxit reader is kind of annoying in so many ways... there must be a better reader somewhere.
I use filehippo.com to skip all that crap, all the apps in one place... like yahoo messenger, google earth and a few other apps I need to get fast without browsing through 10 pages to get to a damn download manager. They have annoying adds, but it's OK if you use add-block.
I don't know how it works, but we have it here in Romania.
I guess it has to do with the fact that the internet was expensive until around 2004 and forced all most every one around here to join in some sort of small networks/ISP. After 2004 the major cable companies started to buy all the networks with more then 500 users and lowered the price to a level almost every one can afford it.
I have 50/50 right now and I pay 25 ron ( ~8.5 USD) with no cap.
Same here. I miss the feeling from fallout 1 & 2. Somehow Fallout 3 feels like Oblivion with new toys.:(
While I enjoyed the Alien DLC... there is something missing in all of that.
And the ending was not that great. I remember finishing the 1 & 2 a few times just to see the ending. Now I don't even care to start the game again. Even Mass Effect felt more enjoyable.
I don't know how it is where you live, but in my country (Romania) there is no bank that lets you log in using normal passwords. You need tokens with a pin and a password + user name.
Offtopic: "A Fire Upon the Deep" how should I say this... I hate this kind of books. Few good ideas... and a fucking big chunk of pages in between them. I've read it hoping against hope that it would have a good ending to save it.
Sorry had to say it, some of you could go and read it and bang their heads to the wall asking themselves: Why did I read this damn book to the end?
I played WOW for a few months started with 0 gold... ended with 300 in a few days just by cornering the copper/tin market. I used to buy everything under a certain price and set all copper at that price. The players assumed that they can sell it higher and usually put their prices above mine. I ended selling all my ore at profit and making good money fast... In the end I got bored by my little scheme and stopped playing.
I would like my CLI in windows to work like in linux... but noooo... we want only GUI.
I'm not your average user, but when I go to a client I usually go windows key + R => cmd oh joy...
save the network config: ipconfig/all >netconfig.txt
Oh and my little.bat's that start or stop services, most of the times is the god damn printers that windows XP SP3 broke...
So please stop attacking the CLI, CLI beats GUI anytime any day.
Just try to support someone with no computer experience through a GUI - the joy, THE HORROR!!!!
Or you can just tell them: "Press windows key + R" type cmd enter type ipconfig/all and read me the output.
So my point is if you don't use CLI in windows you are doing it wrong.
Strong points for CLI: - don't have to memorize stupid GUI and Icon placements - it's all there in all windows versions - why go through 100 clicks when you can press a few keys
This is why I love bash... I can run the world with a single line of commands in a console.:P
toshiba laptops with great built quality.... that is something I have to see. And sony vaio? oh god... give me an ancient stinkpad and is probably faster than any vaio with all the crap installed.
My gripe with GDATA is the fact that it doesn't detect the stupid autorun.inf + *.com + *.exe. I can see it hidden. If I try to delete it it gives me shit about it. But after a while I find it again.
What do you mean by that? That after if I make my orange juice with my 5$ juice maker* I should a add a few vitamin pills?
If I'm alone I use 3-4kg of oranges a week to make a 250ml glass of orange juice every day, best deal ever, it's cheaper then buying "100% natural juice" from the market.
I don't know... I can build a new system in 30min tops if I have the components on my bench and they all are OK. I take probably more to have them ready for production. Depending on the destination I stress test them for at least 24h. After that clean install, clone and be on your way.
And I would advice every one to do this. I enjoy building my computers from parts. It takes me more to chose the right components than to build them.
Take it like a puzzle and enjoy it. And don't worry even if you brake something you are still paying less than buying a DELL.
I see this trend on slashdot and I can't understand it. People saying if you make more then xx$/h you should buy that and don't bother to do it yourself. I would say to you... damn you sleep probably around 8h/day think about all that wasted money.
Probably true. Due to the fact that we had a monopoly ten years ago that forced people to find ways to connect to internet we had like 5 years ago something like 3000-4000 small ISP... that are now brought by the 2 biggest companies RDS and UPC. UPC sucks and doesn't know our market. But they made some behind doors deals... so if you have both companies on the same street if you are on one side of that street you can connect only UPC, if you are on the other side you can connect only to RDS.:))
RDS knows it's market and uses cheap china eq so if something goes down they have 10 spare parts that cost 100 time less then cisco eq. In my bulding there are 6 8 port swiches each with a fiber uplink for 40 apartments. There are no markings on the swiches only a small RDS logo + mac addresses. From my experience they change one or two every year, usually with better ones. The longest downtime was 12h after a storm, their explanation was that in the storm they lost more eq then they expected. What is sad about romanians is that most of the times they ask for the highest speed... and they get the same speed I get for a higher price.:))
So no, I expect my Gb connection in a few years. How soon do you thing you'll get yours?:P
Fuck off. He followed the fucking city policy, maybe he was a jerk about it, but that doesn't make you right about him.

From the government, silly!

Thank you!

Never heard about VNV Nation but I love this:

Ahrrr!!! Here I go to pirate it. :D

Can you be more specific on the imaging and running that image in VM?
How do you do that?
I just want to try it tomorrow to see how it works.
I know. :))
Like I was saying above... a good looking woman passed by. :P
Yup missed the context, probably it was from a good looking woman passing by. :))
"heavier object would fall faster than a lighter object"
Are you sure about that? All objects fall at the same speed... the only change in speed is from air resistance.
:))
