  1. Montana Shoes on Using Your Own Name May Be Infringement, Part 2 · · Score: 2

This reminds me of a shoe company that named several of its designs after western states. They had no trouble until they named one "Montana," and Joe Montana sued.

Amen. Telling yourself that dogshit is roses doesn't make it so. If you are dying, that sucks! Only actually being dead could be worse. If I had to spend my last days with happy sunshiney phonies, or self agrandizing charity people who think sending me to Disneyland will make it all better, I'd get a rifle, and find a bell tower.

"The officials declined Monday to say whether this person was already in custody, but one familiar with the investigation, who spoke only on condition of anonymity, said investigators consider the break-ins the work of a professional rather than a recreational hacker." Yeah right! There is no such thing as military intelligence. Any script kiddie could have done this and "to see of I could," is the only reason he or she would need. Mafiaboy was a script kiddie. The military couldn't find their ass with a map to it.

The author of a website or the surfer? Who decides what a surfer should see? That is a bogus question, as Gator is niether of these. Gator is a third party. No one chooses to install gator, they get tricked into taking it. A god damn pop-up window comes up, and they click to make it go away, and gator installs. If the EFF supports gator, then they are obviously just a criminal syndicate, and I will be really disillusioned. I thought they were fighting the good fight.

  12. Re:Who needs another disk player on New Audio Disc Formats and Copyrights · · Score: 2

They have cooked up two new formats only audiophiles would feel a need to own, and audiophiles don't like them because of their analog outputs. SACD and Audio DVD will be as popular as DAT and DCC were. They are DOA. No one will pirate them or buy them. With a hole in the middle, they won't even make good coasters.

I'm sure these are private christian schools that also teach kids "creation science" instead of evolution, and tell them about the cabbage patch and the stork instead of the birds and the bees. Kids who go to these schools still have sex though, and still have babies even without hippie commie liberal dope-smoking teachers teaching them how to fornicate. Nonsense is becoming so accepted that a new dark age can't be far off.

The good thing about quoting or paraphrasing the bible is that most versions of it are in the public domain. You aren't violating the DMCA or any other copyright law. It also makes you seem to be well read when you can quote obscure parts of it, such as Ezekiel 25:17.

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
