The average Windows user doesn't know how to run as Admin in Windows 7. The Admin account is hidden by default. Oh, you didn't know that? And the backwards compatibility you speak of is only in the Pro version, not the Home version.
Face it, you don't actually have a point to make, you just wanted to bash Windows. Is this typical of Mac Users?
This is where a lot of the RIAA and MPAA's lost sales have gone. They're putting out mostly crap so people are finding other ways to entertain themselves.
If you added up the total sales for Games, Music and Movies, the total amount probably hasn't changed much in the last ten years.
They're out now! The January 2006 issue of OXM has a demo disk that works on both the original Xbox and the new Xbox 360. Probably possible because they both use different file extentions for the default file.
It's a known fact that "First Gen" titles usually don't take full advantage of the hardware. It takes a couple years or more to develop a title, so the devs haven't had enough time with the hardware to maximize it's potential. Same thing will happen with the PS3. It's not news.
So basically they collect tax from you on the pre-rebate amount, and then just turn over the post-rebate amount to the government, keeping the difference. Cheeky buggers!
So half a dozen out of the hundreds of thousands of new Xbox 360 owners are having problems. Why does Slashdot have to state "Xbox 360 Very Unstable"? I've had bad installs of Linux too. Would we see the headline on Slashdot "Linux Very Unstable" too?
This is normal. With the massive number of parts in the Xbox 360, it's to be expected that some are defective on a few units. Microsoft will give them a replacement. Move along, nothing to see here.
Napoleon Dynamite: What kind of bike do you have? Pedro: It's a sledgehammer. Napoleon Dynamite: Dang! You got shocks, pegs... lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps? Napoleon Dynamite: [Cut to Pedro jumping] You got like three feet of air that time.
On Steam it now says August 23rd. So much for just holding it back until the next financial year.
Of course it's got nothing to do with making bucket loads of money from exploiting the photos. They are the Altruistic Press after all.
I think they might need to hire more than one person to work on this.

You're just sore because you made the wrong decision to learn Delphi.
Yeah well, your wife went to college!
This involves obscure mac stuff. Does anyone normal care?
There's at least that many copies of Call of Duty 2 for Xbox 360 that have been sold.
The Xbox 360 has support for mice and keyboards. Just plug them into the USB ports on the front or back.
Considering the server problems they've been having - http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/03/01/ 1519225 - I don't think World of Queuecraft could handle the millions of Xbox 360 players.

"christian"? I laughed so hard I nearly sprayed my coffee! I'll have to remember that one.
The article fails to mention the impending Rootkit payload to be delivered in every box.
Perhaps one solution would be to allow one post per category per day. Anything extra would cost you.
Unless you count that leaked episode of Doctor Who last year.

At least maybe the lawyers would get screwed a bit. Would they then get payed in downloads?
Yeah, just wait 'til Sony puts an Xbox compatible rootkit on the latest crap-rock CD.
Of course they'd probably ge sued out of existance...

Hey, a 35 year old woman is pretty lucky to get a 18 year old to start with. Don't look a gift stud in the mouth.

Pedro: It's a sledgehammer.
Napoleon Dynamite: Dang! You got shocks, pegs... lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

So, what are you using now?
Notepad.
