Anyone seeing my facial expression as I pass through a US airport will immediately see someone pissed off at the delay, disruption and unbelieveable hassle involved with TSA controlled air travel.
2007 TU24 - approaching Approximate diameter: 319 meters (H=20.131) Closest Earth approach: 1.44 LD at 0826 UTC on 29 Jan. ----- Inside ten LD of Earth: 24 Jan. until 3 Feb. Inside Earth's Hill sphere: 27 to 31 Jan. Closest Moon approach: 2.20 LD at 1533 UTC 29 Jan. Data based on: JPL SSD orbit solution #13 downloaded 6 Dec. based on 87 observations spanning 54 days Optical observation: observed from 13 locations during 53.8661 days discovered at 0626 UTC on 11 Oct. by the Catalina Sky Survey last observed at 0313 UTC on 4 Dec. by the Spacewatch 1.8m telescope
This shows that a rock 319m in diameter will pass by the Earth on January 29th 2008, it's closest point will be about 1.4 times the moons orbit or about 357,000 miles. This is VERY VERY close.
Rack everything then figure out a way to disconnect that rack in a hurry. The next time New Orleans gets hit by a big one you can be out of there in a hurry with your data and porn collection intact. The last thing you want is to be still cutting through cables when your knees are under water.
I did something similar with a large tank of tropical fish, the heat from the computer supplements that provided by the tank water heater. Note that this is a LARGE tank, about 3 foot x 2 foot x six foot in US measurements, don't try this with a smaller tank or you will have boiled fish for tea.
Because of your piss-poor service I have not bought anything from you for two years. I use your website to find books and then go to my local English bookstore to place the order. DVDs are obtained in a similar way by browsing your site and then walking round the corner to my local video rental shop. I am sure that I am not the only person who does this.
Even if it gets past my spam filters the moment I see rubbish like this it gets deleted. If I want stock picks I employ a professional, not a scum sucking spammer.
Sorry guys but we have been using a similar system here in Budapest for two years. Maybe if you didn't spend so much time playing at being the world's policeman you wouldn't have to play catch up so often.
I can't speak for most of the Epicor software suite but I strongly recommend that you avoid their Scala product. It sucks, in fact let's say it sucks a lot.
I sometimes wonder what planet Microsoft are on. On todays page we have news that the Vista firewall is to be crippled and now we find that there will be nag screens.
Last time I checked Sir Paul McCartney and the rest of Apple Music were not short of cash. Either they are doing this from some misguided principle or they're going crazy.
An an exercise think of the last album released on the Apple records label.
I'm waiting..............
Just what I thought. Apple records are no longer in the music business.
Michael Dell is right, distro wars are a major reason for large companies failing to adopt Linux. How are folk supposed to take us seriously when they see fights between KDE and Gnome, disputes about the best text editor and all out war when it comes to the Debian / KDE / Red Hat debate.
Have your moment of glory, then remember that the first true programmable computer was invented in Manchester, England (the Manchester University Mark 1 A.K.A. 'The Baby'). ENIAC had to be reprogrammed by moving countless cables around, in the words of one of the operators "each time we changed the software we had to almost completely rebuild the machine". The Manchester University machine stored both its program and data in memory using special cathode ray tubes.
Steve Jobs is my hero, but not for the reasons you state. The two Steves (OK, both of them are my heros) were there at the right time and they knew exactly what to do. Thanks to their work we have the computer industry we have today.
Bill Gates was also (on numerous occassions) at the right place at the right time but he chose the dark path. Now, after a quarter of a century he's trying to atone for his sins by giving his money away. I hate the man with a passion because thanks to him and his company the computer industry has been held back from its true potential due to crap software running on an out of date architecture.
1) As other have pointed out, bad grounding on one or more phases. 2) Bad neutral on one or more phases. 3) Voltage drop on one or more phases.
For the first three get an electrician out, don't mess around with three-phase power.
4) Electrical noise on one or more phases, this may not be caused within your computer room. 5) Equipment connected on different phases affecting each other, for example a printer on phase A and a server on phase B. 6) Borderline power supply in a machine affected by one or more of the above conditions. 7) Faulty power strip(s). 8) Incorrectly wired plug(s) or socket(s).
To give you some idea of the mindset of these people the following instructions were actually included in the plans.
"In the event of a nuclear strike on the City of London transport links will almost certainly be disrupted and many commuters will be unable to get home. Tea and biscuits will therefore be served on tressle tables in Hyde Park to those requiring refreshment"
Now I know why my Grandfather dug a bunker in the back yard.
I'm wondering if the spammers are changing tactics. I used to get one spam message at a time but now I get up to a dozen messages from the same slimeball, all with the same subject line. I can't figure out why they do this because it makes spam filtering easy, more than one message with the same subject line and into the bit bucket you go.

Assuming a population of six billion on the planet that means that 1 in 8000 is on the watchlist. That's a lot of terrorists.

Sneakers got it pretty close and Antitrust was so realistic I'm surprised that Bill Gates didn't sue.

That's the secret. Our network racks are set out as follows:
Row 1 Sixteen port telephone switch with only fourteen ports allocated (room for expansion)
Row 2 Thirty two port patch panel
Row 3 Sixteen port network switch with only fourteen ports allocated (room for expansion)
Repeat layout as many times as needed down the rack. This will mean that you can use quarter metre patch cords and keep the layout nice and neat.

Security at airports is not 'tightened' it's fucking impossible. Anyone travelling from the UK to the USA will find that it's quicker to walk.

For six years I spent the Christmas / New Year period on my own, initially I was dreading it but I ended up having the time of my life:
I ate what I wanted when I wanted. One year I tried goose for a change just to be different
I got exactly what I wanted for Christmas as I bought my own presents
I could watch what I wanted on the TV without fights over the remote
There were no fights between relatives, just me and the cat
Obviously this isn't everyone's idea of Christmas, but Christmas on your own isn't as bad as it sounds.

Next you will be telling me that the USA has achieved peace in Iraq and the war on drugs has been a success.
