Can't see how this is Flamebait, when it was straight out of the Koran.
Me neither.
I'd deem that as fanaticism, as not all Muslims are out to kill all non-Muslims.
While I don't believe all Muslims would kill non-believers, this is straight out of the Koran, not some radical separatists' handbook.
there are different interpretations of the Koran
That's why I posted the link to the translations, to show that several people got the same meaning from it.

Jokes aside, when have you heard any non-fanatic religious person say "believe or die," or something to that effect?
Maybe not Catholics, but the Koran surely says it. Here are some quotes.
'Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their
properties for (the price) that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight
in Allah's Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise
in truth which is binding on Him" (Surat At-Taubah 9:111).
"Kill the Mushrikun (polytheists, Christians and non-Muslims), wherever
you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for
them in each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-salat
(public prayer with Muslims) and give Zakat (Islamic alms), then leave
their way free. Allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful' (Surat At-Taubah
9:5).
"Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor
forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger
(Muhammad) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (Islam)
among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) until they pay
the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued" (Surah
At-Taubah 9:29). [Jizyah = big tax]
"And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and worshipping
of others along with Allah) and (all and every kind of) worship is for
Allah (along)..." (Surat Al-Baqarah 2:193).
Why does tabbed browsing keep rising to such prominence as a must-have feature more than simple standards-compliance and reasonable security does?
Because you can show Joe Sixpack tabbed browsing and he'll say "cool", but if you start blabbering about standards and security (and he actually understands) he'll say "so what?"
Hook them on the popup-blocking and tabs, then sheer numbers will force web designers to shift to supporting standards.
Since when is 1024x768 considered large? IMO that's the smallest they should offer. Especially for a gaming crowd, you'd think 1600x1200 would be the standard large size.
Forget Ogg, if you have an iPod you should be using AAC. After determining that 160kbps AAC sounds exactly the same as 192kbps MP3, I reencoded my collection and shaved off a few GB.
Just create a keyword bookmark. Search google for "stuff" and bookmark the results page. Find the bookmark and right-click on it and choose Properties. Replace "stuff" with "%s" (no quotes), and put a letter like g (for google) or s (for search, whatever you like) in the Keyword field. Now you just type g thing in the URL bar and hit enter to search for thing. Easier than the down arrow, IMO.
Considering how many movies one can actually watch in a month, Netflix seems like a much better deal. They have a huge selection and you get the actual DVD so you can watch it on your TV, not the computer.
As far as MTV goes, it's one item in the menu, not really intrusive at all. The phone is aimed at teenagers, but really you won't notice the MTV stuff.
They use Sprint's network, so if you know anyone with a Sprint phone, see how the coverage is around you; VM's coverage will be exactly the same.
Or you could just use Sleight. Much easier to implement.

Here's a look at this last passage as translated by different people. http://www.qurantoday.com/BaqSec24.htm#Verse2:193

What's disappointing? The depth of the article, or the changes made to the iPod?
They're checking referers, so make sure you browse to the homepage, then paste in the image URL, and it will work.

Wow, once, eh? I'm sure that justified the cost of the system right there. Why did they do it? Just to see if it worked?
Sorry, this discussion is about games on cell phones, we don't need to hear it.
Just remember that the more advanced features these phones get, the cheaper your plain jane phone will be.

Themes
Keep in mind that the packaging requirements changed for this release, so not all of your old favorites are 0.9 compatible (yet).
If you want the old 0.8 theme back, you can find it here: Qute
I just use Beverly Hills 90210. Much easier to remember for people my age.
You can find the "old" theme here.
I figured their 8-movies-at-a-time package must be for pirates who follow this method. Who else could go through that many movies?
How many people:
- Can watch 100 movies a month
- Only want to see what's on Starz
- Have a 600kbps connection, and
- Like watching movies on their PC
