a couple of months ago Rogers cut off a friend of mine in Toronto, and he was without cable for 3 days...When his father was eventually contacted/got a hold of them, they said that my friend was spamming people. If I was there I would have liked to see proof, but I know my friend doesn't spam people and this is pretty groundless. But it just goes to show how gullible ISP's are (at least Roger's) at cracking down on this sort of thing. Basically I lost 3 days of downloading warez to his box (since I live in SlowNet land meh!
Just wondering if EA came up with the "invade Iraq" 1st mission, but it seems out of place really, consider 90% of the game overall takes place in Kazakhstan. I think it was a ploy by EA to be compliant with Dubya initiatives. Of course I'm pretty sure the mission outlines were made many months ago, so it wouldn't be too hard to keep the same map, and change the mission name and the intro cutscene to say "Afghanistan" or "West Bank" or whatever they wanted, but the fact they chose Iraq is kind of disturbing. Not that it matters, since I "support" terrorists by sometimes smoking marijuana (it's bad mmm'kay) that is "home grown"...Oh well.
For someone who seems so aptly involved with knowing who does what in our country, that you don't know how to spell CSIS...CISIS? No idea what your talking about man. But otherwise a good conspiracy rantola!
Was Palladium, before Corel wasted (what, never!) money on getting it changed. The Corel Center is located in Ottawa (Kanata to be more precise) and is the home of the NHL LEAGUE LEADING OTTAWA SENATORS! meh!
Since they started doing the arcades-in-a-theatre in Canada say some odd 6+ years back? Being mostly American read, i figured that this was an "Canada-only" thing, and should be brought to the attention of the uninitiated south of 49:)
You probably wanna buy a T3 as well and basically make copies of everything on DirecTV...
mind you you'd need 16 receivers, and like well thats a little out of anyone's leagues since the remotes would be insane (but cool)...
Anywho if you were actually able to find that much stuff, you would basically turn yourself into the pirate TV capital of the world! That would be the only reason i see (but my tiny brain is unable to comprehend anything other than "stealing" stuff. Good luck buddy! The evil empires are going to your house right now to brainwash that idea out of yer head hehe!
I consider it one of the finest laws ever conceived. It helps everyone and if you break it, you don't get into any trouble. So stop ragging on it as if it were some kind of burden to the people of earth!
Wonderful, now we all (or nobody cuz congress will probably lock it up tight for having sesetive information like how to make a nuke) can find out stuff like the thermal breakdown of carcinogens in hydrodyanmic 5th dimensional space! Or why is the sky blue.
I'm pretty sure not many people would complain/yawn if 100 teams of people were making the world's largest pr0n database! Everyone could contribute to that, in one way or another.
Science: if it's not in a "scientific" calculator you don't need to know it!
And I bet yer spending the several hundred dollars to buy the individual TNG seasons on TNG...good for you! it will offset the loss of money from Nemoysis!
Hehe, the last hour of AI was completely unessecary and completely irrelevant to teh story, in fact it detracted from teh first couple hours and soured my entire experience of the movie.
Funny how when Ali blows up the truck in ep 8? that it does indeed cath on fire, but the next morning the tires seem to be perfectly intact...Last time I checked rubber tires (no matter how "steel-belted" they were) not only melted/oozed, they exploded. So to see all 4 tires in perfectly good shape leads to me believe that the people involved are extremely lazy (possibly) or the fact they wern't allow to burn tires due to the enviromental "hazard" it would make. Even though they coudl have faked it and stripped the tires or something. I'm sorry SciFi, next time try getting a series for the series and not for "the name". (Glad I dont' pay for this crapola!)
Too bad it doens't work too well under XP (no I don't try very hard either). Maybe that's why I was given it for nothing:)
I can't play E&B (closest thing i can think of) anyways since I'm poor and have 26.4 connection. (Not that it matters since I think it's the most boring game ever, might as well call it Space & More Space)
I wonder if the same "all your Pods are belong to us" hack works in that version (one can dream).
As long as I don't have to look at a starchart to load the game up I'll be happy. I remember there being a Creative Labs card a few years ago (8+?)that went into an ISA slot that "emulated" a 3DO so you could play it's 3 wonderful games on it.
One last question reamin for me, was there ever a point to the "Rainbow Planets" at all (since it's been what 6 years since I played it)? Ah the good times.
Well lets see, Zoids (for an exampel tehre are others) I would consider about as lame as "Power Rangers". Bad dialog, bad plot, bad drawings, kid themes. Unwatchable kiddie crap.
and cancelling Farscape.
THe only show i lreally liked was Bebop, and I bought the prefect sessionss (bootleg blah blah whatever), the other stuff is kiddie crap and pretty much unwatchable (even though DBZ is good enuf to tolerate).
Living in Canada, but I get DirecTV, means I miss out on shows like the ripping friends nad their timeslot on probably teletoon, but at least they get shown every now and then.
Note abotu teh Sunday lineup, you can't even tell what shows will be actually shown on "any given sunday", as they shuffle their lineup more than a bunch of retired folkes at "bridge tournament 2003".
As long as it's free I don't care what's on, there is always TechTV and "Thunderbirds".
Yes, but wasn't it attached to one of the "moons" (phobos or deimos i forget)? I can't relaly remember since it ahs been a couple years since i read it last (and 2,000 pages tween the 4 of them books makes me forget by the time i'm done iwth #4 what happened in #3 let alone #1). So that elevator was actually quite large because there was an actual large counterweight already in orbit with all sorts of retro-rockets and whatnot.
yes, one more reason to keep fixing my old car instead of buying a new car and paying 3X the insurance for it as well as 4X as much for the payments (300$ a month instead of say 75$ to fix it a month).
I guess the pix don't work cuz they wern't cached. Oh well. I bet it looks nice regardless.
What we need a a DL so we can see if there is any "Ghost in the Machine" in our comp when it gets analyzed.
Well it was a good couple of years, 80GB later off AG (is that a lot?). Just as I got my 300th MP3 CD as well.
They (RIAA) decide they wanna play hardball, well I'm pretty sure that biting the hand that feeds you is not a very good business pratice.

I don't like paying for stuff, I don't pay for music, I don't pay for movies, I don't pay for TV. No matter what happens I will not buy music, I will not pay for TV and I will not pay for movies. This will not change until the current hierarchy basically does a 180 and the poeple who make the music/TV/movies are in control of their own destiny.
I WILL NOT BE DICTATED TO ON WHAT I SHOULD WATCH OR LISTEN, AND I WILL GET THE MEDIA IN WHICHEVER WAY I SEE FIT.

Long live Moore!
Okay I'll be sure to add my own German Dungeon Pr0n to da mix !
