    Q105832 The "Click here to retract landing gear" button has no corresponding button to deploy landing gear. This will be addressed in the next hotfix or service pack or feature upgrade or automatic update. Please remain in the air until this is released. Your purchase is important to us.

    But that's not really a problem because:

    "You have changed the settings of landing gear, please restart for the changes to take effect."

    They advertise "travel via the shortest route". Depending on the distance this will quite likely be under the surface due to the spherical shape of the earth.

    You wouldn't program a website in C++ anyway, would you? And that's the only domain where PHP is of some use.

    As a beginners programming language for standalone apps I would rather recommend Java than C++ because it's easier to use and safer in the sense that those features most frequently leading to programming errors in C/C++ aren't available in Java.

    Microsoft deserves kudos for this Never! All they can expect from me is a kick in the ass. They keep stepping on my toes for fifteen years now. They won't make any points by doing something that I expect as a matter of course.

    I really like PHP. It's fun. :)

    Maybe fun to play around with for a while, but it can't seriously be considered a programming language. It's a totally inconsistent mixture of C, Perl, Java and whatsoever. The API description already take >2000 pages and keeps growing like leavened dough. Security was discovered only recently and I bet there are a zillion holes still buried inside.

    It's blatantly out of date
    But it will never die

    If you look sharply enough at the FORTRAN syntax you can still see the punch card shine through. And through VI you can look at the typewriter console.

    It's a psychological thing that almost prohibits anyone from selling anything that is "small," "tiny," "whatever." "Medium" or "Regular" makes it look better/more appealing.

    Holy Sh*t! Now that geeks become aware of this I expect a lot of software packages to change name. Like "tinyDNS" becoming "regularDNS" or, even worse, "nano-tiny" will become "mega-regular".

    I wouldn't bet on that. After all M$ is giving away Word sources. How can you be sure they don't have a trojan horse inside to be able to track down NDA violations?

    Only that Linux is not a product. This is much worse an example.

    BTW Linux not being a (commercial) product is the reason why it could get so far. Quality doesn't sell.. Commercialism promotes the inferior. It's sort of Anti-Darwinism: Survival of the cheapest.
