I have an old Winfast 2000 tv tuner card (not the XP version) and with the new drivers/software from leadtek I can record TV shows flawlessly, it even supports straight to VCD DVD burning. (previous driver/software versions DIDN'T WORK AT ALL :P ) I would love to try Both Windows Media Center AND Myth. Knoppix has TV tuner software but I cant seem to make it work with the winfast... anyone could?

I work as tech support for an american firm, in the Argentina branch. I am Argentinian and speak decent( I'd like to think) english. IMHO the cultural barrier that so many of you refer to IS there but if the Tech Support guy is good, it ends up being irrelevant. On the other hand if the guy sucks, the nationality issue becomes instantly irrelevant ;).

I sincerely believe that it could be possible to market this at 600 bucks. The only problem for me seems to be that when a device comes out that fills people's expectations (as in price/performance) usually there is not enough production capacity to satisfy demand, leading to disastrous results. It happened a LOT OF TIMES with apple (i.e. powerbooks in the 90's)
