From the FAQ: (perhaps you should read it) How do you support 100,000 connections? Wont the host system crash long before then?
These connections are all multiplexed over a single UDP connection. This is one of the functions of DTCP, to provide a multiplexing protocol for use over UDP. The multiplexing value is 4 bytes, which allows for a theoretical maximum of over 4 billion connections.
This thing uses one single UDP socket so I don't think porting it to Windows would be too hard now would it.
It is nice, however, to see Pat Volkerding putting some *RECENT* versions of software in his distribution, at least for the most part (XFree86 is a notable exception). It wasn't all that long ago that Pat & co. shipped packages that were 3, 4 or even more versions old...
XFree 4.0.1 is in the contrib directory... is that old?
If you want 4.0.2 you can go to http://www.xfree86.org and download it.
Orrrr you can grab a slackware package from http://www.linuxmafia.org/
How it works
Today, CPRM is implemented on DVD and removable SD disks. But the SCSI and ATA/ATAPI proposals incorporate an extension of the scheme to allow the encryption to be used on hard drives, in addition to removable drives and ATAPI devices such as CD-ROMs and DVD drives.
Umm... you can theme KDE(QT). You know that right? :)
;)
Obviously not
Yep. They've added a GSM VoIP codec in the latest patch which works on both platforms (Windows and Linux).

How do you fit "The Orb - A Huge Evergrowing Pulsating Brain That Rules From the Center Of the Ultraworld, Live in Dusseldorf 1994" into 56 bytes?
By listening to it

Ineed it is a VXD, and as you can see it has a name too, VMM, or Virtual Memory Manager, which means it must have been written by Microsoft.

Validate your code.
At this time, a commercial version of FrameMaker for the Linux platform is not available.
At this time?
Doesn't this mean there COULD be a commercial release in the future?
Maybe I'm just stupid... Yeah that's probably it.
