  1. You don't need to shut them down. Just need fines that are more expensive than the money saved from malfeasence. $100 million fine for a business pulling in $2.7 billion in revenue is just ridiculous. That's like me getting a $2k dollar fine for killing someone.

  2. You missed several zeros which make it seem like Teslas are way more dangerous than they are. The number is 130 million, not 130 thousand. 2 deaths in 130 million miles is pretty good. 2 deaths in 130 thousand miles is Thunderdome.

The takeaway is never hire a designer for a space meant for a practical reason. The designer will be too busy checking brand names and the latest fads to have time to address any actual issues of design. Hire efficiency engineers or similar instead. Tell the inevitable prick who whines about the work environment because he doesn't recognize the brand name of your furniture that you went for mid 20th century brutalist design and he needs to expand his design horizons.

I say that if people care about the freedom to share the software, they should use the MIT/BSD style. But that's no call for everyone to use those licenses. If you don't care about sharing software, use whatever license your want: GPL, proprietary, etc. There's nothing wrong with restricting people from using your work as they see fit. Maybe you're too stupid to keep your wrists straight. Or to have support in place. The rest of us can manage.

Let me see if I can educate you. Place your arms so that the forearms are laying on the desk at a 90 degree angle from your elbows, directly forward. Now, using the elbow as a pivot, lift the arms slightly so that you have freedom of motion. Now - keeping your elbows stable - rotate your arms so that your right hand moves towards the left and circles towards you to your left side, and you left hand moves towards the right and circles towards you to your right side. At some point, your hands should touch as they come together. That's where you position the space bar. Your hands should now have access to almost the entire keyboard without any wrist movement. Rotate the arms out and back in and you should find this to be the case.

For further illustration, the "Q" key should probably be hit with your left ring or middle finger, depending on where you find your hands when the key is needed. The "F" key should sometimes be hit by your middle finger.

If you need to hit the "5", "6", and "7", you might need to use your shoulder to briefly lift off your elbow.
