    1Gb unmetered fiber for a company runs at 1500$ per month in Quebec city, while 175/175mbs runs at 130$ per month for a end user (with a stupid 300GB cap). A 1Gb pipe would provide a minimum of 12mbps for everyone with a running cost of less than 20$ per month while a user would pay 55$ here for such speed and would have a download cap of 120GB. I don`t know how much is a 10Gb pipe but I'd certainly look it up ;)

    IE7 being at less than 3% recently, just let them burn should they still wish to use it. IE8 is easy to have a good enough result.

    Well written! It's sad that the MyCleanPC part was all hidden, when I opened up the remaining I was expecting a worthy followup bashing the uselessness and virus-like behaviors of MyCleanPC rather than a single spam bomb. Oh well, too bad!

    If the database is compromised and the hashes and salts of the passwords obtained, they are free to try locally to find the corresponding password, thus the delay you are speaking of need not apply.

    except that most probably the crack will not be able to provide exactly the same experience as the backend server of diablo III. Ever tried to play on an illegitime wow server ? It's the same word, yet, people are unable to provide the same information about what is going on in the background. I guess that they kept most of the important stuff on their diablo III backend, and that even a crack could not fix that.

    You know that you can drive to Canada or Mexico and fly out from there (well, if you aren't too far from the borders...) ? Before the TSA procedure I was actually driving into the USA to fly out, as it's not far from here and we could easily save 400$ per passenger rather than leaving from montreal which is at the same distance. No way will I ever even think about doing that again..

    You've been getting older.
    Your hearing is degrading.
    Thus, in the last few years, turbines are getting better and better at being silent.

    I've been to a test range of turbines and I could feel the low frequencies inside. That might be a part of the problem. I would certainly not want one near my house.

    I don't understand how they've been able to pull something like this. On a free game on iOS we added some stuff which required us to block some content of one of the levels for old ipods, as they didn't had the required power to play it. We were denied the update as apple said that nothing could be taken away from the users in an update (!), and we had to build 2 different code path & levels so that both could exists together. In a free game... I would expect them to prevent such a thing even more on a paid game!

    What I find interesting is that for 27.50$ per year per student, they have a blanket permission to reproduce any copyrighted work (should I understand the summary correctly) ... That's such a small fee vs what people have had to pay for limited copyright infringements..

    You have to take the full thing into accounts; multiple people said they were against the bill, thus, they are siding and protecting child pornographers. Tagging someone by reference like this has been ruled quite often against it. A radio station here lost using that rhetoric and had to change radically afterward ...
