I had a business in the 80's and used to get these letters regularly. Same wording and scam as the current crop but sent as an actual postal mail letter... so even with the cost of the postage, this must have paid well.
No difference between cabin and baggage. This also is basic science. The entire fuselage tube is pressurized. It would be very difficult to pressurize only the cabin (floor is flat, not a cylinder, lots of holes in floor, etc.)
Perhaps it is because nuclear power technology is 'mature', having benefited from 50 years of R&D and hundreds of billions of dollars investment and subsidy. (And the result is still a technology that is expensive with unresolved problems of waste disposal.)
OTOH, solar energy has not had anywhere near the same investment or subsidy so is an immature field with many interesting possibilities to be investigated. Many of these 'breakthroughs' may not work out. Some may. It's exciting to watch this new field develop.
This system seems to also be prevalent in a lot of the Commonwealth countries. For instance, a small bakery shop in Lahore has one person to select and package your items, another to write up a list and price it, and a third to collect the money (go back to the second person to collect your pastry).
From our friends at Wikipedia on the Greenland Ice Cap (not sea ice): If the entire 2.85 million km^3 of ice were to melt, it would lead to a global sea level rise of 7.2 m (23.6 ft)[2]. This would inundate most coastal cities in the world and remove several small island countries from the face of Earth, since island nations such as Tuvalu and Maldives have a maximum altitude below or just above this number.
In 2005, 5.0% of Californiaâ(TM)s electric energy generation came from geothermal power plants. This amounted to a net-total of 14,379 GWh. In 2005, California's geothermal capacity exceeded that of every country in the world. California currently has 2492.1 MW of installed capacity, with more under development. http://www.geo-energy.org/information/plantsNow/ca/CA.asp
Interesting to note that none of the top 10 on the list of best selling laptops at Amazon run Vista. There are a few with XP. I think things are starting to change... 'May you live in interesting times'
It's so last century to fit your laptop to the steering wheel. Actually, they will fit a steering wheel to the laptop as the new input device. You just plug the car into the laptop when you want to drive somewhere... just remember... nothingcangowrong.
It's been widely reported that Obama does not support telecoms immunity but he has said he will vote for the bill even if it has the immunity provisions... so no lying here (but I'm not particularly happy that he says he will vote for the bill). The Dems have rolled over far too easily on issues like this under the Republican threat of being 'soft on terrorism'.
Corporations are unemotional in the same way that psychopaths are unemotional. They have no 'conscience' about their actions... it's all about the money and power and control... nothing personal, you see.
I've had a Trendnet ADSL WiFi router for about a year and never checked for updates. Never had any problem. It has just worked for the entire time. Should I worry? I bought it because it was the cheapest I could find at the time. (I always buy the cheapest stuff and most of the time it just works fine.)
Happy that I'm now living in Switzerland. They even allow resident non-citizens to vote in their democracy. The system works remarkably well. Pity that the rest of the world can't implement democracy and is stuck with easily corrupted 'representatives'.

Aircraft cabins are usually pressurized to about 5,000 feet or about 0.83 atm. At this pressure (same as Denver), cigarettes burn nicely
If you were in an airplane pressurized to only 0.25 atm (about 37,000 ft.) you would be dead and you could not light a cigarette.

Wikipedia is your friend.
Could be that Microsoft is still paying him to keep the KDE group 'inactive' and to fight off people like you who want to help.

I doubt that you will be using any small screen computer for 'serious document preparation'. This computer is not for you.
Why go to the effort to set up a 200w/m2 power source (microwave) when you have a naturally occurring (sun) power source of 1000w/m2?

Duh... If you RDFA you will see that this is what they are trying to do...
The amazing discovery they made is that when people had time to think about a question, they gave better answers. This is profound.

I think the surprise here is that MS is using same core that's in their very shaky Vista software to run their server software.
However, this product was shrink wrapped. It is difficult to shrink wrap vapour.

The point is that (at least with TrueCrypt) they have no way of knowing that there is a hidden partition there... thus 'plausible denial-ability'.
Sure, also, how many legs to you want?
