Every sports broadcast ends with the whole "copyright MLB, NFL, etc" tag because the broadcast itself is equivalent to these movies. Who's going to be a pal and edit out all of the commercials for me so I can watch the game unhindered?
You see, the advertisements run during these broadcasts are offensive to my nature, as I do not like to subject myself to advertisement (the OSDN banner is *killing* my sensibilities right now). I wish there were someone who could edit the beer and car commercials from the telecast at my local bar as it's my right to free speech.
There's an interesting PSA on TV if you happen to be watching late at night along the same ilk.
The irony is that the librarian motions to two plain-clothes agents who then apprehend a guy who had asked about finding a few books. Afterwards, the message of "Freedom is a wonderful thing. Thank goodness we don't live in a world like this" comes up...
This day will come. But it will be at the time when we implant chips which contain the code for the single-sign-on. You will wave your hand over a pad and everything will come to life as you need it.
This will also be The Day for Increased Finger Theft.
I totally thought Zaphod was supposed to be shorter and squat...yeah, that's the ticket. He also has to be really conniving. Lovitz would be perfect. He talks like he has 2 heads already...
By the title of the topic, I thought this was going to be about the diapers you'd have to wear if you drink enough Pepsi to earn a flight to outer space.
If a single card holds 3.3 Kb, then even with 5 cards, the game can only be 16.5 Kb big. Most games IIRC are bigger than that. I wonder if some of the basics are already in the reader.
For example, all games might use the same font. IOW, a basic data set is in the reader and the dots only store which parts need to be accessed and what all the sprites are going to look like.
Reader = building blocks
Cards = specifics
That would settle how you could put 20+ Kb games on smaller media.
I think in my entire time on the net (nearing 10 years now), I've intentionally clicked on less than a dozen banner ads. If they're even selling something I'm interested in, I'll often look for the webpage of the parent rather than click on the ad. BUT, I do appreciate them a LOT more than pop-up/pop-under/go-thru ads.
If I want to avoid a banner, I can. If someone's going to pay to have the banner there, then that's their business. I can ignore them a lot easier than any of the other mentioned ad types.
Has the popularity of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks made your job easier (easier to develop new ways of cracking, easier to distribute your work, easier to contact others in your group)? Have you noticed a rise in the interest level in hacking/pirating by others who want to become developers? Have P2P networks been a good thing for pirates or have they brought far too much unwanted attention?
I think AMD and Intel should send their R&D dollars to Western Digital, IBM, and Maxtor. Instead of wasting the money building processors nobody wants, they could all be working on hard drives that spin faster than 7200 RPM and have bigger than 8 MB in their cache.
THEN I'd be happier with the speed of my computer.
There's nothing super about Keanu. There's nothing Super about Keanu either. Clark Kent needs to be muscular and yet VERY button-down with a wry charm and amazing command of the language about him. Superman needs to be stoic and heroic with bulges everywhere...including his mind. Keanu is none of these things in any role or physical appearance he's ever had. His fame is rightly from being the 90's grunge guy. It's like trying to get Stallone to play a nerd.
Modded 4: Funny??? Why are we laughing at the sages? This should be 5: Insightful!

Um, yeah...thank goodness..huh...

What are those two new links for porn?

Bruce Campbell.
Read the parent post. The long side has 2.2K...the short side has 1.1K (i.e. the cards are 2:1 rectangles, not 1:1 squares).

Hello! Do you know how fast lightning moves? That's just not even close to ATT Broadband/RCN/@home speeds.
Any good logical linguist knows:
Un-Un-octium = not( not( octium ) ) = Octium (a spoof on the P4 chip from "back in the day").
Suck me beautiful!
Hotline is not a P2P network. It's barely a rise above a fancy FTP.
These are cool....but this is cooler.
Instead, I think they should use Chris Klein.
My PowerMac 7100 seems to boot into OS 8 just fine. And I expect it'll be able to do so even after 2003... Not that I'd want it to though. :)
I think that this link will be crucial to their energy plans in the future.
Could you imagine if this thing had a positronic brain governed by the 3 laws (or any of the modifications)? We'd have a revolution on our hands!
The better question is WWJDFAKB?
