Loved Firefly but Serenity sucked big time. I was so embarassed after taking my wife to see it "This is great" I told her "intelligent sci-fi, you'll love it". It stank! It was like he tried to fit three series into a single film and boy did it show. Everything rushed, nothing made sense. Just goes to show that tv making skills don't necessarily transfer to the big screen. So no more Serenity; WOOHOO! Now, how about some more Firefly?

  10. Re:Sweet on Horde Paladins and Alliance Shaman in WoW Expansion · · Score: 1

On Argent Dawn (Euro) this is certainly true, but it's down the fact the Horde are organised. They form groups before going into BGs. They make plans and people listen to the leader. On the alliance side they almost always join singly, often fail to join the group/raid even in the BG and never listen. The difference (I play both sides) is shocking and the result is that the horde regularly kick the alliance all around the BGs.

You're talking out of your arse. Random playing around "testing" isn't worth the oxygen consumed whilst peforming them.

If you can't reliably reproduce the tests you can't reliably reproduce the bugs. If you can't do that then you can't know you've fixed them.

Professional testers have automated, repeatable tests. Incompetents pretend that "playing around" is testing.

  18. Re:no denying? on Why First Generation Apple Products Suck · · Score: 1

The innovation is in making things easy to use and simply look good. Sure the idea of an MP3 player isn't innovative but compare how easy an iPod is to use (load-up with music etc) and compare it to other Mp3 players. Even today, years after the iPod was introduced players like Creatives still suck.

  25. Re:This is a trash study on Americans Are Seriously Sick · · Score: 1
I think you're making a, possibly false assumption, and that is that the reason the UK population is less sick than the US population is becaue the NHS makes them better quicker: possibly so as there is no disincentive to get early treatment from your GP rather than waiting for it to get more serious before seeking treatment.

It's also possible that we (in the UK) simply don't get sick as often and some of the protections we have (including the NHS) but also employment protection (most people can't be kicked out of their job on a whim, unlike the US) and greater holidays makes us less stressed and thus less prone to sickness.
