Yes, it does still have that limitation. And yes, it does seem to be on the Gmail side and I'm pretty sure there isn't much that can be done about it (short of Gmail making an import mail utility to function correctly).
But ya, it does kind of suck. But when I imported my stuff, I'm just importing old mail and I really don't care what the date is (for searching or not) - because if I want to refer to any of it, I'll just be searching by it's content.
From the FAQ, it also says that it can play a sound when new mail arrives. And that sound is actually just the Windows New Mail Notification sound in the Control Panel.
And it's been mentioned before, but I still think the Gmail Loader is still a handy utility. I'm migrating a lot of my mail and accounts in to Gmail and this thing was a huge help.
My access has yo-yoed a little. I was on dialup for about 2 yrs. Then high speed at college for about 4 yrs. Then dialup again for the last 9 months. And high speed again now.
The worst part was going so long with high speed while at school and then coming home to dialup. I mean, I was adjusting in those 9 months, but the transition was rough.:)
This was for Road Runner. I wanted them to test the line anyways (which he said was "bad" but I can still download well over 300kb/s). But he brought the modem, plugged it in, called the MAC in, and I took care of the rest...
The only reason I had to do a half day was b/c it could be anytime "between 12 and 5"... But Road Runner guarantees they're on time (of course they are, they have FIVE HOURS!). He ended up showing up around 3.
Ok, so I really wasn't. But after a horrible 9 month period with only dialup, and as of this past Tuesday, I finally have broadband once again. I had to take a half day off of work to get it installed, but it was worth it!
This is a giant list of all of the updates, and then links to the KB numbers on the left, so you can read what each one was.
Side note: one of my favorites:
MS03-021: A flaw in Windows Media Player may permit the Media Library to be accessed
At first, I was thinking that it was supposed to do that... but after reading the KB, it's an ActiveX problem that can allow a webpage to access your media library. Then again, MS has always really vague and stupid titles.
"The internet is a communications tool used the world over where people can come together to bitch about movies and share pornography with one another."
Well the big question would obviously be price. Any Mac fan probably knows it would be a very nice piece of hardware... but really, tablets are expensive enough. How much would something like this be from Apple?
This doesn't seem to be a setback so much for "solar power advocates" as there really wasn't anything wrong with the power itself, but seems the design of the car was bad...
Maybe make more sturdy solar cars?

Right, but after the AOL payments, it's almost $600. You can easily get a PC with monitor under that right now. However, the only benefits are that you pay less up front, and get an ISP, but still...

$299.99 + (12 months * $23.90/month) = $299.99 + $286.80 = enough to buy a decent PC without having to go with a full year of AOL (it also == $586.79 for those of you adding at home).
Though I suppose it is actually on target, if someone only has $300 and can afford the $24/month payment, it might be a simple way to get a PC a little "cheaper" up front. Just too bad it has to be AOL.

As I just sort of explained above this... what may seem logical to you or I, may not seem logical at all to others. I think many people will probably do this, but there will also be many people that just won't.
And I just questioned above, I wonder if the screen on the system would probably show the locker number when you scan to have it open?
While I agree that this may be sufficient for you or I... I do believe that many people will not realize the connection. Think of how many people you know have very little common sense or may not even hear it?
Though, I wonder if it would display it on the screen? The picture in the article showed a screen there, so it would probably tell you which locker on that screen, right??
Actually, I made a wallpaper out of this once... of just North America anyways.

Yes.
You mean "You've got Gmail!" right?

It was ME! I was the 51st %!

Yes, but it is possible for your lap to get too warm.
Yes... it's two yrs old, but it's still funny in small doses.
How is the Windows icon derogaroty or belittling?? It's a WINDOW! And it even has the MS colors!
The MS one is kind of funny though.
It's not a dupe. The one you listed is SP2's incompatibilities. This is a list of things it fixes.

At first, I was thinking that it was supposed to do that
I didn't say there wasn't a difference or that I didn't know what it was. I just think it's a stupid thing to capitalize (proper name or not).
And I've had plenty of education, thank you.
Wouldn't it just be "pc" and "cd" ?
eh hem...
"The internet is a communications tool used the world over where people can come together to bitch about movies and share pornography with one another."
Great movie.
So will the "title" for the Slashdot topic icons be changed to reflect this? Or would that be considered a "principal word"?
Shouldn't there be some sort of warning that registration is required?

There's only one obvious choice, right? Though, you may have to remember which hand you used.
