    The bigger picture is nice. But as long as Europeans, don't know about Australia, is treated like a different species, the bigger picture doesn't say much.
    Europeans are not treated like North Americans and not as Asians... resulting is retarded late releases of games, gaming hardware, movies, etc. Or resulting in fucked up releases because "we don't understand it" (-- reference to the Grindhouse bullshit).

    So for all it's worth, the PS3 might be successful in the EU and not in the rest of the world. (but probably not because Sony screwed us over even more and told use to like it).

    People that don't understand HTML and CSS shouldn't to webdesign in the first place.
    If you want to learn webdesign you should learn to design webpages, not learn how to use a program.

    Seriously, these are great, sure they look a bit like the SNES and PSX controller, but the buttons are much better.
    I just hate it that MS forced me to buy a new gamepad because they broke support for the Gamepad Pro in XP SP2.
    My gravis gamepad, even though over 10 years old, are still in perfect condition.

    Besides that, there is no right to advertise. If Google wants to reject certain businesses they have the right to.

    Just because you use "free" code doesn't mean you don't have to check it for correctness.
    If X works in system Y doesn't imply it works in system Z. Heck, the reason it works in Y could be because of a bug in Y.

    Warcraft was realtime strategy, WoW is not.
    RTS fans do not always like (F|T)PS games. So fan base doesn't really count for that much.

    Agreed, the proper mysqldump command should be at least:
    mysqldump --opt --default-character-set=latin1 database

    Something like this might be more interesting
    mysqldump --opt --default-character-set=latin1 database1 | sed "s/SET NAMES latin1/SET NAMES utf8/" | mysql database2

    And then simply switch the application to use database2 instead of database1 (or rename the databases)

    It will always turn out into a popularity contest. Votes can always be bought.
    Some people will always try to abuse a system.
    There is only one solution for this and that's using a web of trust with weighted ratig. People you trust have a higher rating and the people that the people you trust trust (friend of friends), etc.
    The result ofcourse would be a different rating for articles for every user.
    Yes, it is like the friend/foe system for comments on /.
