The housing crisis, caused by lending institutions granting mortgages to unqualified applicants, wasn't the fault of large banking corporations? They knew they could shove their losses off on Fannie and Freddie, so they had no risk, took the money and ran. The problem isn't the government, the problem is that the government is owned by multinational corporations, with the Banksters at the top of the corporate ownership pyramid These banks also happen to be the ones being protested on Wall Street.

Until we the (physical) people take take back ownership of our monetary system and go back to limiting the "rights" of corporations, it doesn't matter what you do in the voting booth.

Not sure which direction you are talking about moving shows. I have copied multiple shows from my series 2 tivo to my mac in order to strip out the commercials and burn to DVD. I've also copied them to a laptop running XP.
To do the copy, I've used the Roxio plugin that comes with Toast, and whatever the Tivo provided software is for XP.
I also used tivodecode for a while.
I don't remember any issues with any of the 3, especially not being able to copy any shows. I copied shows from food network, hbo, and other non-broadcast networks.
Most likely none of that applies if you have a series 3 or other HD capable box. If you do, and you are tired of the box, feel free to send it to me;-)

SNAFU the system, volunteer as the authorities' punching bag, whilst gaining points with fellow inmates, even if the system gets implemented anyway; blow your chances of an early release; and ensure you will not be stabbed in the kidney with a knife made out of whatever random scrap of metal your neighbor can find?
Without information identifying posters, they may or may not be with APD. What if the posters really are APD? I don't know what information is in the posts, but if the chief is this riled up about it, I don't expect it would benefit the posters career if they truly are in law enforcement.
