    The behaviour of majors shifting away from CS and towards PE, may be because there is more money to be made in the other industry... hence capitalistic free society.

    if americans have created a larger (no pun) industry in physical education due to it's historically high obesity rates, then well .. you can make more money telling little fat high school kids to do some yoga...

    So whitenoise encryption offers a cheaper solution that is mathematically stronger, and computationally order log n complexity where n is filesize (therefore faster too)

    and please tell me why anyone in their right mind would still bother using this shoddy, expensive, slow method for cell phone encryption?

    look what apple did with BSD.. imagine what IBM can do with linux !!

    Even if they sold it for close to what windows is selling for, I'm sure people will welcome the switch of vendors.. especially with a name like IBM backing it.

    go do a google on stenography encryption...

    it's the process of hiding data inside of an image..

    using a good dispersal algorithm it's impossible to extract the data without the password..

    plus it's impossible to prove the image contains any encrypted data...
