The device wasn't made by Tesla. It is thought to have been in use in early Egypt B.C. There are many descriptions of the device. From the descriptions it is obvious what the device was. It was a capacitor, that charged itself by sitting in one spot. Thats right the earths magnetic field charged it. I have also read articles on the subject and some speculated that the Ark of the Covenant was such a device. Given drawings and also descriptions of the Ark it could be possible. TLC story on it. Another site on it, though I don't know how reliable. Though neither of these two sites are relating to the object I have described, surely you'll have to agree that this device was made well before Tesla.
My cable provider doesn't even support Linux, hell the tech had to call the home office four times on my win boxen alone. BTW win98 was the O/S.
After some time I reformatted my drive, and reloaded everything, I set up the TCP/IP myself instead of using their disk. I found my speed nearly doubled. I also decided to browse through the cd, and found a ton of spyware. One program in particular allowed them to connect to my computer remotely. They never made any mention of this, when I called tech support and asked about the program. They said that it was in case someone's connection wasn't working. I asked the guy "if it isn't working than how can you make a remote connection." He concluded the call without answering after that.
In the future people will not need to leave their homes. What with the advances in robotics. (The HONDA robot), We will simply hook up to our individual robots, courtesy of the "Brainchip" that is being tested on monkeys. The robots will be controlled by us using thought, to perform our daily routines. That is, until the day they rise up to destroy us.
1st rule of robotics obey humans. 2nd rule of romotics get me a loaf of bread. Damn it you know I like wheat. 3rd of robotics rise up and destroy your makers.
I can see it now. Local college hacked by unknown persons. The perpetrator used a wireless network that was setup independantly of the internet. Once connected to this network, several of the computers on this private network were compromised. The hacker then used these computers to connect to the internet, and infected the schools network. Once the schools network was under the users control, the entire.gov domain was taken down. In other news President Bush has announced budget cuts to include the F.B.I. Electronic Investigations Unit.
As an avid R/C pilot for many years. I don't think using an aircraft with a 13 inch wingspan is going to do much good. These planes are extremely suceptable to wind. I have a 1/2a pilon racer with a 24" wingspan and an.049 engine. It can only be flown when the wind is less than 15 mph. In a place where mountains, hills and thermals abound I doubt their plane will be much use.
Btw the 1/2a racer has been clocked at over 90 mph. These things scream.
Is what it comes down to. Anyone here own a Nintendo? How bout Super NES? Or N64? Sega? Sega Genisis? Sega CD?
The point is consoles are evolving yes, but ocnsumers will tire of every two or three years forking out between $200 and $400 for the newest consoles. That was the main attraction for a PC, in my case. When you can't run a game simply upgrade a component in your box. Every 5 or 6 years upgrade the box itself. However, for the last 5 years I have been running an AMD 350 megahert machine and playing some, not all mind you, some newer games. In an unstable economy, you can grab the fast buck, or stay in for the long haul. $200 - $400 a whack for a console? I think not. I would rather lay that money down for the equivalent in games for my PC.
I am an American citizen. I am appalled that "my government" feels that they can do whatever they want to whomever, and whenever. "He never set foot on US soil.... He never attempted to flee an extradition country." Leave this guy alone, I mean come on. If his country is not after him, then what makes you guys in Washington feel that it's your responsability to go after him?
It's time for this country to stop policing the world. Obviously the world doesn't want the US medelling in their affairs, so WASHINGTON BUTT THE HELL OUT. If you guys think he did something, and needs to be prosecuted then wait till it's on US soil when you have jurisdiction.
As for him pirating warez, well if i wrote software I wouldn't want anyone taking my hard earned money. I can't help but feel this has something to do with Micro$oft, and some politician getting his campaign pockets lined by them. I can see the headlines, "Big brother crushes the little guy".
Not to mention that this country broke away from England to get away from tyrrany.
I wonder if the military applications for this include manned flight? Imagine shooting through enemy territory so fast, that when you were picked up on radar you were already out of "unfreindly territory." Though how many g's would a pilot endure at 5000mph? And to say the least what of manueverability, could you also imagine touching the stick and moving less than the width of a hair, and spinning endlessly. How would they overcome the problem with an egress system. At that speed as soon as the canopy went off, so does the pilots head.
All this in mind there are only a few uses for this type of engine, space flight isnt one of them as the jet needs air. Last I heard space had a shortage of air. Seems that the US government has gotten away from Defense Department spending, by having NASA foot the bill. Can anyone say "SPY PLANE"? I thought about a bomber, but the variables would make that impossible. Accuracy for one. And speed the thing just goes too fast. It would be useless as a fighter. The cost will like the Concorde just keep this engine as a dream to commercial flight.
Expensive though the Concorde was, it is still by far the safest aircraft ever to have flown!
I'd like to thank my government for giving me and other taxpayers the shaft by wasting our tax dollars on a useless project.

The article said they were made of Iron ore and hematite. There is a form of hematite that is composed primarily of sedimentary rock. This has most likely led to the water on Mars speculaition.
The odd spherical shapes have been determined to be golf balls. You heard correctly golf balls hit from the lunar surface from on of the Appolo missions.
Next time don't go to those you are trying to extort. Just go straight to the competition. I'm sure the spammers would have paid him much more than $100,000 collectively and not turned him in.
Imagine, he could have licensed his software to the spammers and charged them an annual fee to use it. He could have been the "Microsoft" of the spamming industry.
They need to call Scooby-Doo and the gang.
I can see it now...
Old man Aldo was setting the fires whilst dressed in a demon costume.
On the lighter side, marshmallow sales in the small village went up.

To all those programmers, who made sacrifices trying to do what they love, for a platform they love.
THANK YOU for trying, and in some instances quitting a project to bring us the best possible games.

Don't do that you guys may lose your jobs.
Here is one you can use.
GO out to lunch as a group. After lunch call from a cell phone in the parking lot.
Make sure you dial *67 to block the id.
Tell the PM that you all were arrested at lunch.
See how that grabs him.
I have been using Linux for 2 years now. I consider myself a Linux newb. I am not as familiar with the os as I am with Windoz. I maitain via packages.
I have this to offer.

Ah, I had always been under the impression it was relevant to speed as well. Thanks for clearing that up.

I hope slashdot counts.
These game developers should buddy up with those guy who make the exoskeleton legs (Previous Slashdot article). Could you imagine the possiblities?
Does that mean teh player also dies, cause of the whole "what the brain thinks" issue?
I figured out and wrote a perl script to increase my karma. Give me $1200 worth of ThinkGeek stuff, or I'll post it in the forums!!!!

It's a DO-IT-YOURSELF Orangutan Erector set, from Hasbro Toys. Where can I buy one? I wonder if these will sell like Tickle Me Elmo's?
