performing "offline" searches on Google.
Please do not write to Google to request permission to "meta-search" Google for a research project, as such requests will not be granted.
Uhh...I think you mean liquor store. Now if anyone accuses you of being alchoholic, you can just say that the endless bottles of empty vodka bottles in your apartment was pda fuel.
For a bit more insight, "Goth" people don't wear black because of their interests, but rather to lower their image so people don't demand as much from them socially.
The man arrested, Jeremy Jaynes (aka Gaven Stubberfield, and Jeremy James), was listed as the worlds 8th worst spammer on http://www.spamhaus.org/index.lasso. Spamhaus is a site that tracks the activity of spammers around the world. It also lists USA,China,And South Korea as the worst spamming countries.
Part of Apple's pricing strategy is that "it cost's more, so it must be good.", backed up with Apple's general image of creating superior products. I just wonder what will happen if Apple ever releases a $200 or $300 pc. Complete Mayham?!?
We're not talking about an operating system here. This is a computer game. Also, QuakeIII is a game engine, so a lot of the code is contained within the mods/levels and not the Game itself. The scores are from the 3rd compile, so some cacheing was going on.
In other news, scientists in New Mexico discovered the fictional world of the Matrix, may quite possibly be real. However, unlike the description given in the movie, the matrix is actually a computer program which has been running for several years at an unknown location. He was happy to say the Matrix runs on Linux, and not windows, so a system crash is "unlikely". SCO has decided to sue the creaters of the matrix, whom he calls "God", for royaltees on free software.
Patterns save time and effort by supplying developers with a shared language when discussing common problems.
Finally someone with an accurate description of what a design pattern actually is. In fact, that is ALL it is. I disagree that being able to identify patterns in your code saves time and effort though. And how does forcing patterns into your code help when, by definition, a design pattern is commonly occoring. Yes, you may have added new words to your vocabulary of programmer technobabble, but how helpful is it?
AMD is only speaking of the PC industry #1. 32 bit processors will start fading out in the same way 2x cdrom drives did, or 1 gig hard drives. They will keep making 32 bit processors, but when 64 bit processors reach a certain price customers will have no reason to keep buying 32 bit. Plus none of it mentions anything about throwing away existing 32-bit machines. This "end of 32-bit Processors" crap is just the usual slashdot propaganda.
I especially like that one seen in Reloaded where Neo turns into a cartoon and fights hundreds of smiths (who are also cartoons) and at the climax of the scene, gets bored and flys away. Hilarious!
Great, another Matrix discussion rampant with delusional "deeper meaning" zealots. What's Next? A book on the philosophical ramifications of Demolition Man? Or one on how The Last Action Hero can improve your golf score? Please! The filmmakers are laughing at you.
Last Thursday it revealed that it had delayed until Nov. 1 a plan to double the price of the license in order to give users more time to buy licenses at the lower rate.
How thoughtful of SCO. So we can pay $699 instead of $1398 for free software. And we have until Halloween?
"I think the chances of collecting from small businesses are very small, because they have very little to lose," he said. "They don't necessarily know whether they have SCO or Linux. The only time they care about their computer is when it crashes."
This guy subliminally replaced Windows with an imaginary SCO OS in his sentence. Is Microsoft so deep into this SCO scandal that SCO and Windows can be used interchangably in a sentence?
Calls are encrypted end-to-end using 256-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption, which is nearly impossible to hack
Nonsense, I've been cracking Skype encryption codes for years. Simply tie a string around a telephone pole, hook it up to a soup can, hold the can to your ear, listen away.

Let's look on the bright side, Windows ME is still in circulation.

...I've fallen into a plot hole and I can't get up!!

With all of the high-quality frameworks available today, it's no longer necessary to even think about writing low-level code.
And all this time i've been writing all my bytecode with a hex editor, like a sucker.
...And for a history lesson on the walkman, go here
He describes the relation between Open Source and Microsoft as: "one of gnats swarming around a large, slow-moving beast."
...Or one of fly's swarming around a hot piece of sh*t.

Should we be playing God? Does the potential for good that new life forms may have outweigh the harm they could do?
Well, you can stop yourself from doing it. But can you stop your enemies?
Ah, yes, the future will come...In 5 to 10 years.
All the parody you need is here

All this will do is send a message that worthless patents are both acceptable and profitable.

I really had to install Wine sometimes just to play solitair, what an overhead!
So now the real reasoning behind KDE is revealed: To build a non-windows solitaire device.
Yea but how do I get my computer to spit out cash like ATM machines do?
