    Honestly, I doubt they're that useful to the NASA people either. I guarantee that mission plans are still done in local time. They'd mostly bhe useful for finding out sunrise/sunset, something that could also be done in local time.

    They're primarily toys. But they're cool toys.

    FYI, Canada has the same system (i.e. phones only work on the carrier you bought them from). So that's not it.

    Not only that, but it's good for the Linux guys who won't touch a Windows PC for religious reasons. Now they just need to choose Start->Shut Down->Restart, which maybe isn't Penguin-kosher but they can get away with... :)

    Nevermind, I've got it now. I thought when they said "run" they meant "run the installer." Now it makes a lot more sense to me. :)

    Seems a kooky reason to name a product. "Looky, we can finally install off a CD, let's rename the product!" seems a bit odd... :)

    I don't really understand what the Move part of it means. Is that move from Windows, move around, mobile...? The web site doesn't seem to explain.

    Microsoft Head Office has refused to add Hebrew support to Office v.X. Microsoft Israel had offered to foot the localization costs (probably a stupid move), but Microsoft refused them.

    I've got a mass of lego that's 20 years old hidden away in a box. It's still perfectly servicable. SOME of that set is a generation older. Why would I bug a new set for my kids, when I have them? The product is too durable, I think, for it's own good.

    The article mentions that Real plays songs using Apple's QuickTime and iTunes. That isn't available on Linux, so I very much doubt it is capable of playing iTMS songs on Linux.

    It isn't the caffiene that causes kidney stones, it's the phosphoric acid.

    Whatever your new addiction turns out to be, make sure it doesn't have phosphoric acid. Citric acid is fine.
