When you create a setup and deployment project for your.NET application (i.e., an.msi installer) using the Visual Studio.NET tools, the project wizard automatically includes a check for the.NET Framework. At installation, the installer checks for the.NET Framework and if it is not present, the installation wizard installs it. The key is that you have to deploy the.NET Framework merge module with your installer.
Dell dropped WebObjects and went with ASP because, as the site grew in popularity, they needed more developers and ASP knowledge was far more prevalent than WebObjects. I know this from my tenure at Dell in 1998.
The move to ASP.NET was an evolutionary one.
would it have been so hard to do a little google searching, perhaps a little mailarchive grepping, maybe come up with your own assessment of the scene, first?
While you can technically kill someone here in Texas for stealing property, it does not indemnify you from:
A) Being arrested (not necessarily charged)
B) Being sued
You need to be sure you're going to be able to live with the decision of taking someone's life before you do it, regardless of where you live.
Sure, I'll give up my job, uproot my family, sell my house, say goodbye to all my friends, and move to a country where my dollar is worth less so I can avoid the broadcast flag.
First of all, "War of the Worlds, and Chocolate Factory Trailers" doesn't make any sense; it's not grammatically correct by any stretch of the imagination. Never use a comma in a list of two items.
Second of all, the comma is commonly used in journalism in place of "and." For example, "Man Shoots Wife, Self."
I normally don't discuss grammar and punctuation in threads, but every once in a while, the/. editors get something right.

...but it reminds me too much of this guy.
EWeek is reporting news, not endorsing it. The story is linked on Slashdot; should slashcode be rewritten in ASP.NET?
It's not ironic; he admitted that he can't type.
"Syntax" is an appositive for "errors."
The continuum has come full circle. To you guys, today is Slashdot's first day on the web.

You must be new h....oh, wait.
You retired as a Private First Class? The concept of a promotion is lost on you I guess.

Like wise I would like to see Jose Whedon thoughts
Is that the Mexican non-union equivalent of Joss Whedon?

So deliciously ironic......
You're one of the people that moved to Austin and made it unpalatable to us natives, forcing us to move to Dallas. Or something like that. :P
Not likely. Apple was very secretive about the development of the Macintosh. The first public glimpse of the Mac was in the Super Bowl commercial.

It doesn't seem likely that Microsoft would violate the NDA by taking a picture of the prerelease Mac.
How will WoW look in 32MB of VRAM? Laggy as hell?
Man oh man, you are so full of shit. I'll leave it at that.

I've searched the relative links but I can't find the list of games included. Can someone post them here?
You were probably trying to make a joke, but a Tim Burton versin of Promethia would be really awesome.
Congratulations! You win the award for Best Use of Obvious Information for Karma!
Open Arms, arguably their biggest hit (or at least one of them).
I'm a 20-something and I knew that song.
