    I love my eee pc however battery life is not going to be suited for the Everest trip unless they have electrical outlets at the base camps to charge it. I'm pretty sure they don't! In the cold at Everest battery life will be even shorter.

    Russia is VERY good at putting man in space. Their launch vehicles are tried and true. Progress and Soyuz are awesome preformers. You can not question it. The Shuttle was o.k. in it's time. Give me a Saturn V and Apollo craft oiver a shuttle EVERY TIME. The Apollo and LEM were true space craft. Designed to fly OUTSIDE of Earth's atmosphere. I look forward to the new launch vehicle and spacecraft. Russia does have a clue as to what they are doing. Happy new year!

    This is a non event. Someone said that this will draw "millions" of people to Macs. Boot camp will not draw millions of new Mac users. That's just flat out rediculous. "Regular" PCs are much cheaper, people will continue to buy them. You either stay with Windows or switch to a Mac, Joe A. Citizen will not spend the extra money on a Mac and dual boot. It's not going to happen. This will fail. A few Mac fantics will do it but that's it. I love my Macs but I have NO interest in doing Windows on a Mac. NONE. This is a yawner IMHO....

    I am proud to say I have only been to a Walmart ONCE (the closest is 45 minutes away) and I didn't buy a thing. I'll shop Target any time. Walmart is way overrated IMHO.

    I bought My Sears Craftsman mower 13 years ago and it STILL WORKS. I have only replaced the carb once and have never changed the oil, only have added oil if low and replaced the pull cord a few times. I think I got my monies worth! "Merl"

    Wrong but thanks for playing. Most meteor shower meteors are sand grain-pea sized so yes, THEY burn up totally. Random meteoroids that are big enough to have partly survive entry that make it to ground are called meteorites of coarse. Many hit Earth every day. Most end up in the oceans naturally.

    This is correct. They did breath a lot of the stuff and have not suffered any ill effects from it. It got all over everything in the spacecrafts and clothes. We no doubt breath far worse stuff here on Earth. Think about it.

    Free upgrades and more software choices. I've ran the Ubuntu liveCD on a g3 ibook 500 and it rocks. I may try it on this mini eventually.
