Well Tim Cook is trying to kill off Macs. This idiot needs to be fired. I wouldn't be surprised if they sell off the Mac division. They don't give to fecal lumps about Macs anymore.
My main machines have been Linux for years. I do have one Win 8.1 machine for TurboTax but that's all. I've been running Linux Mint for the past 6 years. Before that Suse. I'll NEVER get a Windows 10 machine ever. Windows is such a PITA it's not even funny.
I did the same thing for 2 years! Then I tossed Windows off my HO laptop and installed Mint on it. Tim Cook sucks. They need to fire his "In the pipeline" butt.
I'm running Mint 17.0 on a 6 year old HP and it works GREAT! Apple needs to fire Cook. Like RIGHT NOW. They are no longer a computer company, just a phone company that caters to idiots that need a new, overpriced cellphone every year. Meanwhile I still use a flip phone!

For the majority yes. I stopped buying 2 papers many months ago. One up'd it's priced to.75 and is as thin as an onion skin 6 days a week, the other (The NY Daily News) is 80% ads and went to.75.

It's a given (IMHO) that there is other life out there in this galaxy, never mind the rest of the universe. It could be single celled, multiple celled, animals, plant or some other creature but there IS other life out there. We are not that special in the great scheme of things.
I also don't believe it will look like anything fantasized by the UFO believer crowd. The "common" "grey" drawn by people is bogus IMHO. Most likely ET will look NOTHING like man.

The cycle's AVERAGE is 11 years. It could go longer or shorter. This is not a big deal. I believe one past cycle (IIRC) lasted 13 years. Give it a few months. It'll start kicking in.
