your comment is pretty amusing, considering in the article, "You're only as good as your last game" appears to be a quote from him.
I didn't play fable, but I heard all the promises that were made for it and saw all the features that disappeared one by one as it got closer to release. The claims he's making for fable 2 seem pretty similar.
I don't know of any motherboard-based video chip sets that include 256MB of RAM.
Even if that was true, why does that affect corporate PCs, which are usually higher quality.
corporate workstations generally skip out on the video processor and memory. Traditionally, office applications haven't needed high end video support, but now that the GUI uses pixel shading and requires a seperate GPU, existing corporate systems don't stack up. Also, even Microsoft is only claiming 128MB is good enough on a single monitor at up to 1600x1200. Have dual monitors, widescreen, or a really nice display, and you'll need a better video card. Not to play games, just to run the OS.
The interface on an ipod is a lot better than other MP3 players. I've had a few other players before, and it's easier and faster to upload songs and playlists to an ipod, and much quicker to search through a long list of music and find what you want. The stock headphones needed to go, they hurt my ears, but that was simple enough. My ipod also has longer battery life than the rio and philips players i've had, but that's probably just because it's newer. as far as I know, there are plenty of cheaper mp3 players, but none that are better.
a show that was cancelled by network tv caused you to drop cable? Phrased like that it doesn't make much sense. It seems even stranger when you realize that it was then picked up by a cable channel to rerun the episodes that were there. If anything, the phrasing of your post would seem to lead you towards watching more shows based off cable channels
well, i'm pretty sure the amish wouldn't accept it, though i'm not sure if they should be called a religion or a closed (and very religious) community.
The CCNA exam has questions that are done on a simulator to simulate configuration or troubleshooting on a router. Most of the ISDN involved on the exam is theory, but he could be asked to show practical knowledge as well.
now look at the lists again, many of the titles are exclusive to gamecube. This should be mentioned more clearly in the article, or at least by the/. submitter.
You see, a theory is created by observing natural phenomena and evidence, forming a hypothesis as to why it happens or acts that way, testing it, then letting the scientific community corroborate your tests, and continue testing whenever new evidence comes along to refine or disprove it.
On the other hand, ID was created by replacing the word 'god' with the term 'intelligent designer'
Evolution has a great deal of evidence supporting it, from fossil records, to DNA similarities in similar species, to the fact that farmers or scientists can selectively breed plants, fruit flies, or anything with a short period between generations to selectively breed certain traits.
On the other hand, creationism has a series of books that are thousands of years old, and some rhetoric about fossil records being put there to trick us.
perhaps you'd like to take a look at the wikipedia pages on scientific theory or scientific method to find out what a theory actually consists of.
please don't call ID a scientific theory, since it meets none of the criteria. It is not accepted by anyone except fundamentalists. Really, even the catholic church agrees that ID is not science, and that evolution happens. It must be difficult to be that backwards.
An exclamation point is already there to emphasize a sentance. (Turn it into an exclamation) If you need to further emphasize something, adding more exclamations just makes it look silly. Besides, it's not like there aren't other ways to emphasizesomething.
Two things. First, do you notice a problem with systems hanging frequently using deepfreeze? (I've only seen this happen with the network managed version, the standalone installs seem to work fine for some reason)
and, it looks like you've already found your own solution, but you know that you can usually install the software and then remove the admin rights, right?
I do expect newspapers, magazines and books to continue to exist until I can get a 300 page ebook 1 inch thick. Which means each page needs to be less than 0.003" thick.
Why oh why would an ebook have individual pages (and thicknesses?) But even given that, pretty much any PDA is thinner than that, and most tablet PCs are only about 1.5" thick. (I did find one by transmeta with dimensions of 0.98"x7.95"x9.5") which not only seems perfectly reasonable for reading, but a 40GB hard drive and a wireless card have a bit more than 300 pages of capacity. Now i'm not saying that ebooks are always the perfect solution, but sometimes they can be extremely useful, such as searching through technical manuals on a laptop instead of carrying them all to a remote site.
I had the (mis)fortune to be working in a NOC for a web hosting company last night, and it turned out to be a period of 4 hours where some of our monitored systems would have flaky connections, they'd be down for a few minutes, then come back up, but probably go back down again a half hour later. Frustrating, yes, but it didn't take very long to determine that Level 3 was the issue. Trying to get a timeframe out of them as to when it would be fixed was much more frustrating, but was pretty much what I expected from them.
Planetside has already been running as a MMOFPS for what, two years now? I think all they've demonstrated is that noone wants to pay a monthly fee for an FPS
After years of fragmented Windows versions they finally made the one true merged OS that they had been praising for so long. Windows 2000 was really one OS to rule them all.
and would that "true merged OS be windows 2000 Professional, Server, Advanced Server, or Datacenter Server?

which is only helping his point about 900k ids

you can also set that so the screen will show each site in a box on the screen, it works pretty well with 4 sites.

keep in mind that all those people in gitmo have never been indicted.

I was under the impression it was a roman emporer, not a pope that switched the sabbath to Sunday. Or were you talking baout something else?

yes, you will eventually get the title for the car. After you pay off the loan until then, the bank or whoever the lienholder is will have the title.
perhaps you noticed that the article is titled worst-case scenario?

in volunteering to give up your privacy, you pay much more than just the cost of setting something like this up

halo is neither massively multiplayer nor does it require a monthly fee, so i'm not sure what you're talking about.
